Liu Jun has been engaged in clinical nursing work in psychiatry for 23 years, and has won the titles of "Excellent Nurse" and "Advanced Worker" for many times, and during his tenure as a teaching nurse, he has been awarded the title of "Excellent Clinical Teaching Teacher" by Concordia School of Nursing. In December 2019, he served as the head nurse of Ward 5 of the Depression Treatment Center of Beijing Anding Hospital affiliated to Capital Medical University.
She loves her post and dedicates herself to her work, plays an exemplary role everywhere in her work, has participated in the psychological assistance work of the 7.21 rainstorm in Beijing, and when the new crown epidemic broke out in early 2020, Liu Jun was the first to ask for battle and said to the organization that "the state is called, the call must be fought, and the battle will be won." As the head nurse, under her inspiration, all the nurses in the five wards gave up their vacations, all of them asked for battle, and none of them flinched. From March 15 to April 22, 2020, she led three nurses from her ward to Xiaotangshan to fight the new crown epidemic and successfully completed the task, which was unanimously praised by patients. Liu Jun, as the head nurse of the ward, established a carefully combined sub-specialty direction in the context of the depression treatment center. During the epidemic period, we organized a number of psychological and nursing training such as group psychological therapy, communication skills, stress reduction methods, and art therapy online, leading the nursing team to provide quality nursing care for patients, providing more guidance on psychological stress reduction and self-relaxation techniques, and providing patients with more comprehensive psychological support and more humanistic and better nursing services. Patient satisfaction surveys are conducted monthly. Department nurses have also received verbal praise from patients on several occasions.

With the development of the times, Liu Jun has kept pace with the times and provided diversified services for patients and their families using the Internet and related apps. Open the department's WeChat, listen to the voices of family members and patients, and carry out continuous health education for discharged patients and their families according to their personal characteristics.
During the epidemic period, considering the inability to visit and the difficulty of follow-up consultation, she led the department to open an official account to provide real-time updates of information such as outpatient clinics, follow-up visits, and hospitalizations in accordance with the policies of different periods. Organize activities on various festivals to enrich the patient's hospital life, and broadcast the patient's hospital life in real time on the public account. At the same time, the use of mobile phones has been opened up in the ward, and the communication between patients in closed wards and the outside world has been strengthened. To provide daytime online learning space for adolescent patients, to provide patients with many convenient services such as online video visits, the five wards she led were called "the most intimate wards" by families and patients, and she herself was called "the most adorable nurse head mother" by many adolescent patients.
Strengthen basic nursing care and improve the quality of nursing care
During his tenure as a teacher and head nurse, Liu Jun constantly strengthened and improved the basic nursing level, and at the same time carried out a training competition in various operations, improved the operation level of nurses in the department, and trained a number of nursing backbones for the hospital.
She led the department's indoor medical staff to carry out monthly emergency plan study, emergency drills, and constantly improve the team's ability to cooperate and predict and deal with emergencies, the department's indoor personnel have repeatedly faced emergencies and become unfazed, methodically handling related problems, so that patients are satisfied while avoiding unnecessary losses for the hospital.
As the head nurse, she also opened a heart-to-heart mailbox in the department room, brainstormed, so that the letter must be returned, and strive to continue to summarize and improve in the work, jointly explore, practice, seek progress together, wholeheartedly provide patients with full, comprehensive, high-quality, intimate nursing services, and create a comfortable, warm and harmonious atmosphere for medical treatment.
In the past year as the head nurse, Liu Jun has not only steadily improved the quality of nursing in the five wards, but also effectively improved the subjective initiative of nurses in the department to carry out quality nursing work.
