On September 21, local time, Qatari Emir Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani called on leaders of various countries not to boycott the Afghan Taliban at the United Nations General Assembly.

According to Al Jazeera reported on the 21st, Qatari Emir Tamim spoke at the 76th Session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) that countries "must continue to dialogue with the (Afghan) Taliban." Boycotts will only lead to polarization, and Atta will respond to that. Dialogue, on the other hand, can lead to positive results. ”

Qatar played a key role in Afghanistan after the U.S. withdrawal. Tamim's warning at the U.N. General Assembly was aimed at many heads of state who remain concerned about engaging with Atta and recognizing his regime.
