
On October 18, Beijing time, the Dallas Mavericks officially announced the signing of forwards Justin Jackson and EJ Onu.
Jackson was the No. 15 of 2017 and played for the Kings, Lone Rangers, Thunder and Bucks. He averaged 6.6 points, 2.5 rebounds and 1.1 assists per game. In February 2019, Justin Jackson was sent to the Lone Rangers in a deal involving Harrison Barnes and was involved with the team in the rematch at the Orlando Campus.
Onu was drafted in the 2021 draft, and during his four years at Shawnee State, he was named to the NAIA All-American First Team and led the team to the NAIA championship. Onu played in four games for the Lone Rangers in the Summer League, averaging 1 point, 2 rebounds and 1.5 blocks per game.
