The exhibition consists of three parts, the first part of which, "A Century-old Journey 1921-2021", presents important events and important works in the history of Chinese music in the past century in the form of major events. The second part, "History and People", presents the 142-year-old Shanghai Symphony Orchestra premiering and participating in the creation of important red works and their creators. The audience can see 14 precious objects of Ding Shande, Huang Yijun, Qu Wei and Zhu Jian'er, including the premiere program list and the first vinyl record of Ding Shande's "Long March Symphony", the manuscript of Zhu Jian'er's "Singing Mountain Songs to the Party", the premiere program list of Qu Wei's "Monument to the People's Heroes", and Huang Yijun's baton when he conducted the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra in 1981. The "Listening, 100-Year Echo" themed Red Music Exhibition will run until August 15th, and groups of up to 30 people can book a guided tour in advance. Zhou Ping will give the tour to 9 volunteers, all of whom are members of the Shanghai Symphony Lovers Association, most of whom are now retired. Before retiring, they came from different professions, some were teachers, some worked in banks, but they were all veteran classical music fans. After hearing that the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra was recruiting exhibition volunteers, the members enthusiastically signed up in the WeChat group, and 9 volunteers will be trained and taken up their posts.

From June 23 to July 1, every day from 15:00 to 21:00 on the hour, a guided tour will open. On June 25, 26, 29 and July 1, a special guided tour will be added before the four "Great Achievements in Party Building" theme concerts at 18:30. Du Zengjuan, one of the volunteers, said: "From the century-old history of Chinese music, we can also witness the changes in Chinese culture and society, I will take the time to truly understand these histories, only in the process of explaining to move myself, can I move more visitors." ”
