After several rounds of selection, 10 "most beautiful scientific and technological workers" and 102 key publicity personnel were selected from 404 scientific and technological workers. The Shaanxi Provincial Association for Science and Technology and other relevant units jointly recommended 10 effective candidates such as Tao Wenquan, and finally Tao Wenquan, professor of the School of Dynamics of Xi'an Jiaotong University and academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, was selected as the "most beautiful scientific and technological worker", and 5 scientific and technological workers such as Wang Xingzhi, Kang Zhensheng, Liang Zengji, Zhou Zhou, and Liu Jianni were selected into the list of 102 key propagandists.

Wang Xingzhi was born in September 1935, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, and a researcher-level senior engineer of the 203rd Research Institute of China Ordnance Industry. He opened up the field of anti-tank missile research in China, presided over the successful development of multi-type anti-tank weapons and equipment, and is a pioneer and leader in the field of anti-tank missiles in China.

Kang Zhensheng was born in October 1957, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, professor and doctoral supervisor of Northwest A&F University. He takes the overcoming of wheat diseases as his mission, focuses on food security in the front line of agricultural science and technology, tracks the forefront of the world, and leads the team to make outstanding achievements in the occurrence of major wheat diseases in China, such as stripe rust and gibberellosis, pathogenic mechanism and prevention technology research, and has made outstanding contributions to the research on the prevention and control of wheat diseases in China, especially stripe rust and gibberellosis, in the forefront of the world.

Liang Zengji was born in October 1933, a researcher at the Agricultural Technology Center of Changwu County, Shaanxi Province, and a famous wheat breeding and cultivation expert in China's arid areas. For fifty years, he took root in the grass-roots level, engaged in wheat breeding in difficult and arid areas, innovated five theoretical technologies, bred 7 varieties examined by the state and the province, changed wheat from disaster-prone and low-yield crops to disaster-resistant high-yield crops, created a miracle of wheat breeding in our country, solved the problems of multi-disaster and low-yield and the masses' food, and devoted his life's efforts to national food security.

Zhou Zhou, born in December 1966, is a professor and doctoral supervisor of the School of Aeronautics and Astronautics of Northwestern Polytechnical University, mainly engaged in the overall design of unmanned aerial systems, aerodynamic layout, flight mechanics and control, flight simulation and testing, etc., and has presided over and participated in more than 20 national defense basic research, national natural science foundation, national 863, national defense advance research, civil aircraft special projects, national defense key technology demonstration and verification, and national key model key technology research. She led the team to struggle in Tibet, Qinghai, Gansu, Ningxia and other places with difficult environments all year round, and made outstanding achievements in the development of China's UAV cause and the cultivation of scientific and technological talents.

Liu Jianni was born in September 1978, a professor in the Department of Geology of Northwest University, mainly studying the Cambrian explosion of life and its co-evolution with the environment, and her report on the Cambrian leaf-legged fossil "Cactus Dianworm" solved the major scientific problems hotly debated in the academic community and caused strong repercussions in the international academic community. At the same time, through the Internet platform, popular science lectures, field investigations and other forms, she went deep into primary and secondary schools and poor areas to carry out science education, initiated the establishment of the "Young Scientists Social Responsibility Alliance", and made arduous efforts for the development of Science Popularization and Science education in China.
