On the afternoon of October 12, Xinjiang Agricultural University held the 2024 Summary and Commendation Conference of the Practice Course of Farming and Reading Education at the main venue of Bayi Hall.
In the past 25 years, more than 83,000 teachers and students have carried out farming and reading practice in 247 farming and reading education bases in Xinjiang, sprinkling the sweat of youth on the vast fields, generating direct economic benefits of nearly 4.2 billion yuan.
Why is this course being offered? As a matter of fact, as a key agricultural college in the autonomous region, the university made clear the school-running policy of "integrating theory with practice and combining teaching with production" at the beginning of its establishment, and integrated labor education into the whole process of personnel training.
