In the interview, Wu Fenghua explained the reasons why she insisted on performing for the Shanghai audience:
"First of all, Shanghai, as the birthplace of Yue opera, from private enterprises to performance industry, has given us a lot of room for development, and the Shanghai audience still has a lot of love for Shaobai, a grassroots theater troupe with both culture and martial arts."

In the interview, Wu Fenghua mentioned that the Shaoxing Xiaobaihuayue Opera Troupe once had cloud singing and online live broadcast activities a few years ago. Although more netizens participated in the interaction between the bullet screen and comments, the three agreed that face-to-face performances were more important.
"Although there are portraits and pictures in the cloud, there is less 'earth atmosphere'." Wu Fenghua said.
"Self-media and new media are essentially a completely different way of communication: on the stage, the audience will resonate with the characters through real-time performances, but if yue opera moves forward, it is inseparable from the dissemination of self-media, and new media will produce more 'hidden audiences', and the communication intensity will be completely different." In this series of performances in March, the reason why these five classic Yue operas were chosen is first of all to commemorate the three mentors of Fan Ruijuan, Fu Quanxiang and Lu Ruiying, all of which they have performed together and are now presented by three "original generation" actors who graduated in 1986, and it is through the performance of the repertoire that they inherit their factional art.

Finally, Wu Suying said that these five classic works are also different from previous performances, and creative changes have been made in terms of casting, choreography, and costumes. In the interview, the three artists deeply realized the difficulties in the enrollment of the troupe, the young people who purely love opera do not account for the majority, and the phenomenon that the income of opera actors is not proportional to the payment has also become an important reason why people do not choose the opera major.
However, while exploring new ways of new media communication, Shaoxing Xiaobaihuayue Opera Troupe has not slackened its own internal skills cultivation, several famous teachers have taught by example, and the processing and improvement of traditional repertoire and folding plays are all advancing in an orderly manner, giving young actors and screenwriters more opportunities for practice, cultivating and encouraging young actors to learn by themselves, and promoting everyone's progress to the greatest extent.
