In response to illegal fishing, the Harbin Municipal Public Security Bureau has set up a special working group to organize units along the Songhua River to crack down on illegal fishing by setting up cards on the shore and patrolling and controlling the river. On the evening of October 5, investigators of the criminal investigation detachment found that some people were carrying out illegal fishing in the waters near the avionics hub of Dadingzishan at the junction of the Songhua River in Bayan County, Bin County and Hulan District. The work team immediately organized police forces to carry out work overnight, and successively arrested 3 groups of illegal fishing personnel in Manjing Town, Tangfang Town and other places in Bin County, arrested 6 criminal suspects including Lei Mouzhi, Gou Mouwen, Zhang Mouyu, Liu Mouling, Fang Mouling, and Wang, and seized 3 boats involved in the case, 4 "no-account nets", and 3 inverters.
At about 1 o'clock in the morning on October 6, another group of police officers arrested Cui Mouhe and other 6 criminal suspects when the illegal fishing boat docked, seized 3 boats involved in the case, and seized more than 300 catties of various fish products, 1 crime vehicle and 1 account book. After interrogation, Cui Mouhe and others confessed that since the opening of the river this year, 9 members of the gang have used illegal fishing tools such as "no-account nets" and power grids to catch a large number of aquatic products in the waters of the avionics hub of Dadingzishan on the Songhua River for the purpose of illegal profit-making, and a total of 177 boats have been committed, 20.9 tons of aquatic products have been fished, and the amount involved is more than 150,000 yuan.

The reporter learned from the Harbin Municipal Public Security Bureau that since October 5, the police have filed 22 cases, arrested 35 criminal suspects, seized 8 illegal fishing boats, confiscated more than 30 illegal fishing tools such as power grids and illegal fishing nets, and seized more than 300 catties of illegally caught fish.
