The Renault 4 can be regarded as the production version of the Renault 4 Ever Trophy concept car, and it can also be seen from the official pictures of the exterior details that this car uses more straight lines and a relatively square overall styling style, with a closed illuminated front grille on the front face, and a retractable fabric roof on the roof, which has a panoramic sunroof effect when opened.

Foreign media said that the Renault 4 can be simply understood as the heightened body and raised chassis version of the Renault 5, with a body length of 4.14 meters, similar to the size of the Jeep Avenger, and the body length of the Renault 4 exceeds the 3.92 meters of the Renault 5. According to the available information, the Renault 4 will be offered in two variants, the lower spec version will be equipped with steel rims, and the higher spec version will be equipped with aluminum alloy rims and roof racks as standard.
According to foreign media reports, the Renault 4 is based on the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi Alliance's "AmpR Small" electric platform (formerly CMF-BEV), which shares 70% of the components with the CMF-B fuel platform. The shared parts are expected to reduce the manufacturing cost of the Renault 4 by 30% compared to the Renault ZOE.
Also from foreign media reports, the Renault 4 will be available with three output power motors, namely 70 kW, 90 kW and 110 kW. The battery is available in two capacities, including a 40 kWh battery with a range of 300 km (test conditions unknown) and support for 80 kW DC fast charging; The model with a 52 kWh battery has a range of 400 km (test conditions unknown) and supports 100 kW DC fast charging. In addition, the Renault 4 rear suspension adopts a multi-link structure, and a dual-motor version is expected in the future.
After its debut at the upcoming 2024 Paris Motor Show, the Renault 4 is scheduled to start production at the Renault plant in northern France in the third quarter of 2025 in conjunction with the Renault 5, with deliveries in Europe expected to begin at the end of 2025.
