Two days before the holiday, the charging volume of new energy vehicles hit a new high
Since October 1, the traffic volume of Beijing-Shanghai, Shanghai-Shaanxi and other expressways in Jiangsu Province has surged, with a daily traffic of more than 150,000 vehicles, of which the proportion of new energy vehicles is close to 10%. At more than two o'clock in the afternoon, the reporter saw in a service area that the 12 charging piles here were in a busy state, providing charging services for car owners.
Meng Haoyang, owner of new energy vehicles: The number of charging piles has doubled this year, and they are all fast charging, and what is more reassuring is that the staff is on site at any time to dispatch services, which is very good to alleviate my range anxiety.
Also busy is the S32 Tongnanxuan Expressway Hanting service area, the reporter noticed that every 10 minutes there will be a new energy vehicle to charge, here 16 charging piles 24 hours for the owner of the service.
Jiang Hao, a new energy vehicle owner: I set off from Hangzhou to prepare to go to Wuhan, and it is quite convenient to charge here, because there are staff to serve us throughout the whole process, reducing the time we have to charge and queue up.
Shimen Village in Wuyuan County, Jiangxi Province has attracted tourists from Tiannan and Haibei, and unlike previous years, because of the new charging station, more new energy vehicle owners have come to play during this National Day.
According to data from the State Grid Smart Vehicle Networking Platform, two days before the National Day holiday this year, the highway charging capacity reached 15.58 million kilowatt hours, an increase of 56% over the same period last year, a record high.
Weaving a dense charging network to ensure green travel during the holidays
In the face of more and more new energy vehicles on the road, some new measures have been taken to improve the charging experience of new energy vehicle owners.
Flexible and convenient mobile charging piles are an important means to improve the charging capacity of many highway service areas this year. In the Shenhai Expressway, where the traffic flow is concentrated, in order to alleviate the problem of "mileage anxiety" of car owners, the local power department has introduced three mobile charging piles in the Pinghu service area to provide car owners with more flexible and convenient charging needs.
Zhu Zhenyuan, staff of State Grid Pinghu Power Supply Company: "During the Eleventh Day, we deployed mobile charging piles in advance in the service area with large traffic flow and charging volume to guide car owners to charge in an orderly and fast manner, and realize the transition from "car looking for piles" to "piles looking for cars".
In the Surabaya service area of the Rilan Expressway, the local power department has installed a mobile emergency charging bin, and the charging bin is equipped with 3 120 kW charging piles, which can charge a new energy vehicle to about 80% in one hour.
At the same time, various places have increased the coverage of charging piles. In Hanzhong, Shaanxi, the service area and scenic spots have achieved full coverage of charging facilities.

In Xiaogan, Hubei, during this year's National Day, 600 central villages and tourist villages have also achieved full coverage of charging piles, which greatly facilitates new energy vehicle owners to travel and return to their hometowns to visit relatives.
