On the morning of September 10, Jianghan District, Wuhan City, held the 2024 Teacher's Day Symposium, at which 8 teacher representatives told education stories and discussed issues such as the cultivation of top talents, the training of class teachers, and the education of children with special needs.
Ye Wenjing, deputy secretary of the Jianghan District Party Committee and head of the District People's Government; Zhao Zhi, member of the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee and Minister of the Propaganda Department of the District Party Committee; Jiang Hui, member of the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee and Director of the Organization Department of the District Party Committee, and Xu Li, Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of the District Education Bureau, attended the event.
At the meeting, Xu Li reported on the construction of Jianghan education teachers. He mentioned that Jianghan Education optimizes the allocation of teachers through multiple channels, improves professional quality in an all-round way, seeks in-depth reform and innovation, comprehensively promotes the optimization and upgrading of the teacher team, and creates a talent matrix. He also said that in the future, the Jianghan District Education Bureau will strengthen the protection of teachers' rights and interests, improve the incentive mechanism, implement the treatment guarantee mechanism, and effectively reduce the burden on teachers.
At the symposium, 8 teachers from schools in Jianghan District shared their stories of teaching and educating people.
Zhang Yanping, principal of Daxing No. 1 Experimental School, shared the experience of group schooling, and the school's practice of "mental education" has been highly praised, allowing batches of teenagers to grow up strongly.
Huang Xiaoyan, a teacher from Wuhan No. 1 Middle School, talked about the experience and thinking of top-notch talent training, and she believed that for the cultivation of top-notch talents, we must "recognize change" and have "sensitive awareness" to grasp the direction of change; Second, we must "think far" and do a good job in "three-year planning" and "double-line layout of education and teaching"; Third, we must "be practical", know our own pain points, and be able to break through the pain points and open up new roads.
Gao Fen, vice principal of Wuhan No. 1 Junior High School, has been working on the education front for 28 years, gradually growing from a novice teacher to a special teacher in Hubei Province. She has the courage to innovate teaching methods and skillfully integrate textbook dramas, talk shows and other elements into classroom teaching, which greatly stimulates students' interest in learning.
Deng Shijun, a physical education teacher at Wansongyuan Road Primary School, shared his story of cultivating students on the green field, he promoted the integration of sports and education, and led the team to participate in competitions at all levels from the district level to the international level as a football coach, and achieved excellent results, cultivating a large number of outstanding football talents for the country, provinces and cities, and many students entered double first-class universities through football expertise.
Wang Lan, a teacher at Evergreen No. 1 School, has been engaged in the work of a class teacher for 25 years, and has always adhered to the concept of "those who are touching the heart do not precede affection", paying attention to the emotional and mental health of students, taking love as the background, being a teacher with feelings, and doing a warm education.
Huang Junhong, a teacher at Wuhan Evergain Experimental School, recently successfully completed a three-year educational aid mission in Xinjiang. During her time in Xinjiang, she was deeply trusted and loved by children and parents. At this year's farewell party for Xinjiang teachers, parent Nurgul and student Nofina shared a heartwarming story with Huang Junhong and presented her with hugs and flowers, which was deeply moving. Huang Junhong demonstrated the mission of a Communist Party member with practical actions, and made positive contributions to forging the sense of community of the Chinese nation and promoting the high-quality and balanced development of education.
Yu Hongdou, a teacher at the Red Scarf School, as a Young Pioneer worker, has always maintained a reflection on her work. She was deeply gratified when she saw the first-year freshmen firmly reciting the oath of joining the team, the students were moved to tears by the red story, and the students wrote down their ambition to "dream of becoming a PLA to defend the motherland". Yu Hongdou said that she will continue to learn, educate people with noble character and exemplary behavior, lead the majority of young pioneers to establish lofty ideals, and tie the first button for their life path.
Wang Jin, a preschool teacher at Beihu Kindergarten, deeply feels the changes of the times, students and the connotation of education, and believes that educators need to constantly hone their professional qualities in order to become "teachers of the future". After work, Wang Jin once again devoted himself to the status of "graduate student", in-depth study of class curriculum, one-day activity organization and early childhood development evaluation, etc., and prepared "future literacy" for children with a diligent attitude.
The sharing of the teachers made the scene burst into applause.
Subsequently, Zhao Zhi communicated with the teachers from three aspects: ideological and political education, simultaneous development of five educations, and teacher ethics and style.
At the meeting, Ye Wenjing said that Jianghan District will continue to make efforts in the continuous expansion of educational resources, the improvement of quality and efficiency of education, and the continuous optimization of the teaching team, so as to accelerate the construction of a first-class education district.
