On the afternoon of September 4th, the Jiuting Town Food Industry Workers Cake Decorating Contest was held in Shanghai Aili Food Co., Ltd., and 27 bakers and amateurs from the cake industry competed on the same stage.
In the competition, the contestants need to independently complete a 6-inch themed cake with a gram weight of no more than 800 grams within 40 minutes, and decorate the work with cream decoration. The reporter saw that the contestants were provided with disposable gloves, piping bags, piping nozzles, scrapers, rags, napkins, cake bases, mixers, turntables and other tools. Some of the contestants also carefully prepared their own cake decorations.
Creaming, plastering, decorating, decorating...... With the successful conclusion of the two groups of competitions, various fancy and form cakes were placed on the cake table, such as the Hundred Flowers series, the animal series, and the fruit series...... The cakes condense the ingenuity of the contestants. "This earth-shaped cake is wrapped in chocolate on the outside, and the difficulty is the melting and wrapping of the chocolate." Contestant Zhang Tiling introduced her works to reporters. She has been in the bakery industry for more than 20 years, "The union held this competition, which gave us the opportunity to exchange ideas, and I like it very much. Zhang Tiling said.
In the judging process, the judges scored in turn according to the decoration part, process standards, hygiene requirements and personal specifications of the cake production, and finally selected the first, second and third prizes, with bonuses of 1,000 yuan, 800 yuan and 600 yuan respectively.
