To be honest, this huge painting has definitely not shocked me as much as others. Mr. Yang Ming's paintings on weekdays are not uncommon, and I know that he first refined prints, and then he was good at Chinese painting, especially peony, which is a must in the industry. In recent years, he has carefully studied traditional Chinese landscape paintings, traveled all over the Taihang Mountains, Wudang Mountains, Guilin Landscapes, the Three Gorges of the Yangtze River and the Three Mountains and Five Mountains, carefully studied the differences between them, through comparative analysis, he felt that the landscape characteristics of these places can also be found in the Dabie Mountains, so he concentrated his main energy on the Dabie Mountains. I think that it must be limited by the conditions of the painting site, otherwise, Mr. Yang Ming, who has already known Dabie Mountain in his chest and is committed to "establishing a legend for the motherland's rivers and mountains" and "speaking for Dabie Mountain", will definitely have more and more wonderful big visions and bold laying out. Fortunately, now that the Photography Society has such a good venue, Mr. Yang Ming and Huanggang Calligraphy and Painting will be of great use!
The ancients said, "Karma is good at being diligent; doing is thinking." This sentence could not be more appropriately applied to Mr. Yang Ming! Mr. Yang Ming has been focusing on Dabie Mountain for decades, focusing on Dabie Mountain and loving Dabie Mountain! For the sake of Dabie Mountain, he brought "diligence" and "thinking" to the extreme. His "diligence" is embodied in thousands of paintings, and his "diligence" is embodied in the journey of thousands of miles; he reflects "thought" in all his works, and he immerses "thought" in the continuous brush and ink. Looking at Mr. Yang Ming's many landscape paintings, we can fully feel the wonderful impression of "mountain soul and water rhyme, langlang qiankun" here, he uses endless emotions to depict Dabie Mountain for us, and he uses a variety of brushes to establish a legend for the motherland's rivers and mountains. Each of Mr. Yang Ming's works pursues the casual, thick, natural and rhythmic sense of pen and ink, with the artistic effect of dot dyeing nature, super bone and majestic atmosphere, which embodies the artistic characteristics of "black, dense, thick and heavy" of landscape painting. His works are ethereal and ethereal, with a distant artistic conception, quite the temperament and weight of Song paintings. It is particularly worth mentioning that in 2015, Rong Baozhai, who has a "tall" status in the art industry, also extended an olive branch to him, which is a rare honor! Only painters whose artistic achievements are of a very high grade and who have excellent topics are eligible for the exhibition.
