Wu Guanzhong's series of water town paintings with the theme of Zhouzhuang show a unique personality and are favored by people. Chen Yifei's oil painting "Memories of Hometown - Double Bridges" was purchased by Dr. Hammer and later donated to Deng Xiaoping, which played a great role in helping Zhouzhuang become famous at home and abroad.
The book "The Life of Zhou Zhuang" is composed of seven chapters, including eight scenes, preface, reproduction, old shadows, sketches, paintings, and return visits. The main part is a large number of old black and white photos taken by Yang Mingyi in the seventies and eighties of the last century when he sketched in Zhouzhuang, and there are many manuscripts of his sketching in Zhouzhuang, etc., the whole book is soaked with Yang Mingyi's attachment, obsession and beautiful vision of Zhouzhuang, which touched the readers and aroused everyone's resonance.
