In 1956, Mr. Zhang Junqiu's Beijing Peking Opera Third Troupe, Mr. Ma Lianliang's Ma Lianliang Peking Opera Troupe, Mr. Tan Fuying and Mr. Qiu Shengrong's Beijing Peking Opera Second Troupe merged to form the Beijing Peking Opera Troupe with a strong lineup, and together created the "Ma, Tan, Zhang, Qiu", a brilliant period in the development of Peking Opera.
Mr. Tan Yuanshou once said: "'Ma, Tan, Zhang, Qiu' is Mount Everest, and my generation is at most the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. ”
Mr. Zhang Junqiu promoted Tan Yuanshou, and in the early 1960s, the Beijing Peking Opera Troupe went to Changchun Film Studio to shoot the opera art film "Qin Xianglian", and Zhang Junqiu invited Tan Yuanshou to play Han Qi. This character is not much play and is a role that Tan Yuanshou has never played. However, he gladly accepted the task and said that he would feature the supporting role. He and Zhang Junqiu repeatedly studied the "Killing Temple" together, adding a [original plate] singing voice to Han Qi. He also added a "zombie" action when Han Qi killed himself. Although Han Qi's plays are not many, after Tan Yuanshou's serious performance, his kind, upright and fierce personality has left a deep impression on the audience.
Therefore, Tan Yuanshou felt this way: "Mr. Zhang Junqiu is an idol I worship, and he is also my good brother, and even more so, my good Bole." He personally ordered me to play Han Qi in "Qin Xianglian" and Yang Liulang in "Yuanyuan Media", and later he took me to sing "Dragon And Phoenix Chengxiang", and I played Liu Bei, which made me go up a level and a step in the performing arts. ”
Zhang Junqiu's son, Zhang Xuezhi, studied Tan Pai with Tan Yuanshou for many years.
Mr. Zhang Junqiu also brought Tan Xiaozeng to participate in the recording of "The Essence of Chinese Peking Opera Audio and Video" as much as possible. Tan Xiaozeng's lover Yan Guixiang had the honor of studying with Mr. Zhang Junqiu during his studies at the drama school, and was one of Mr. Zhang's earliest students.
In 1962, the three plays "Orphans of Zhao", "Trial Head Thorn Soup" and "Wangjiang Pavilion" personally directed by Mr. Zhang Junqiu were widely praised and received warm responses as soon as they were performed. Mr. Zhang's meticulous and meticulous guidance has benefited Yan Guixiang a lot and provided a solid foundation for her artistic development.
