In the work of creating a civilized city, we organized members to investigate the setting of street signs in Jinzhou and learned that many people usually do not pay attention to details. With economic development, urban changes, new residential areas, new development of real estate, new construction and reconstruction and expansion of roads, etc., street signs are also increasing, in the past two years, the newly named streets and roads have Songshan New District's South Chinese Medicine Road, Nanshan Road, Taihe District's Innovation Road, Chuangye Road, Chuangjie Road, Binhai New Area Longqi Bay Industrial Park Lushan Road, etc., where the city's footsteps developed, street signs are set up. Since 2018, the Jinzhou Civil Affairs Bureau, together with relevant departments, has named 78 newly built and renovated streets and installed 280 street signs. Up to now, the number of street signs set up in the main urban area of Jinzhou has reached 1500, which has promoted the standardization and standardization of urban place name settings, brought many conveniences to the social management of public security and transportation departments and enterprises to carry out foreign business negotiations and handle licenses, and also made geographical information inquiries, people's travel, tourism, electronic navigation, logistics and express delivery more convenient, and made positive contributions to shaping the image of Jinzhou urban civilization and strengthening social management.
Although the street sign is small, it is closely related to the history of the city and regional culture, it is a carrier and a symbol of the place name, which contains the long cultural connotation and historical accumulation of Jincheng, and is also a inheritance of history and culture.
