Recently, in Xiaoqiao Town, Hui'an County, the State Grid Hui'an County Power Supply Company organized staff to carry out distribution line drone inspections, and found that the heating temperature of the switch switch lead on the 239th pole of the 10,000-volt Dongshan Line was high, and there was a risk of line failure caused by burnout at any time.
During the on-site investigation of the elimination environment, the company found that the pole was located on the slope of the mountaintop, and the terrain was complex, and the existing environment could not support the traditional large-scale machinery operation method. In order to ensure the normal production and living electricity of surrounding users, the company finally decided to adopt two groups of centipede ladder live operation elimination scheme, and simultaneously carry out the switch automation transformation work to improve the success rate of the correct action of the FA of the line.

At 9 o'clock in the morning on the day of the operation, the live staff of the State Grid Hui'an County Power Supply Company carried out various preparations in an orderly manner at the site, cleaned up the working ground, assembled 2 "centipede ladders", laid ground anchors, tied cables, and fixed 16 groups of cables in four positions in the southeast and northwest to ensure the stability and reliability of the 2 groups of 10-meter-long "centipede ladders" during operation. Wearing golden insulated shawls, hard hats, and insulating gloves, they were fully armed and carried out high-altitude live work at the same time, completing the removal of the upper lead of the pole and the insulation shielding work. The shortage elimination staff followed closely to carry out the heat shortage elimination and switch automation transformation operations. The on-site operators cooperated tacitly, efficiently and orderly to complete the hidden danger elimination and switch upgrade work.
For the first time, the State Grid Hui'an County Power Supply Company used a crawler-type insulated bucket boom truck to carry out live lap operation on the Yuqun branch line of the 10,000-volt home wind line.

The double "centipede ladder" live operation eliminated the shortage of 19 public transformers and 3 special transformers, a total of 3,069 users, and realized the "zero perception" of users' electricity consumption.
