There has been the latest progress in the "Yongzhou Dinosaur Water World Parent-Child Bath Camera".
On July 2, with the intervention of the local police, Yongzhou Dinosaur Water World apologized to the five victims, and two people have reached an agreement with the scenic spot to accept compensation and sign relevant agreements. However, two victims also said that they have not accepted the consultation so far and still reserve the right to sue.
On the afternoon of June 29, Ms. Yin from Yongzhou City, Hunan Province, took her 5-year-old child to Yongzhou Dinosaur Water World to play.
According to Ms. Yin, the staff later explained that the parent-child shower room could only be used by children, and the purpose of installing monitoring was to see if the child had fallen and apologized verbally. However, Ms. Yin thought that there was no reminder that adults were not allowed to change clothes or shower here, which was unacceptable, and immediately complained.

Ms. Yin said that under the mediation and arrangement of the police, some of the victims met with the relevant persons in charge of the scenic spot (Yongzhou Dinosaur Water World) and investors. Regarding the victim's question of "why did you install surveillance in the parent-child bathhouse", the scenic spot replied: The monitoring was installed in December 2023, and it is true that video surveillance should not be installed in the parent-child bathhouse.
"All victims who have entered the parent-child bathing room of Yongzhou Dinosaur Water World from June 28 to 29 can go to the local police station to report and inquire, show the admission voucher, and after the police verify that it is correct, they can discuss compensation with the person in charge of the scenic spot and sign the relevant confidentiality agreement."
