Lin: Let's talk about reading in addition to writing. I especially admire that you can read 1,000 books a year, which is really strong. I belong to the slow reading, let us share some methods of fast reading.
LU: The first and most effective approach is strategy. It's easy to get tired when you don't have a strategy, so you have to set a goal for reading. Buying books is like a mountain, and reading books is like drawing silk. The book you bought in 618 has not read two books by Double 11, because there is no sense of purpose.
You tell yourself that life is limited, and my fate with it is one hour, and then two hours... After you build it, you will find that you can read "Like Water Years" in an hour. Of course this is just a joke.
For example, if I'm going to catch a train at 11 o'clock, then I have to read a book for an hour from 10 o'clock to 11 o'clock. First read the cover, the table of contents, and then spend 5 minutes imagining what would happen if I had written the book. This way you carry assumptions about structure and you can read faster.
When you read about 32 pages, you fully know the author's language style, the general structure, and then jump to the middle part and read 10 pages, look five minutes before 11 o'clock, directly to the last page, and finally guess well.

This shows that a large number of learned people have tested it for us for more than 50 years, and it is still there. Why should we doubt "Dream of the Red Chamber", "The Red and the Black", doubt "Resurrection"? Why affirm Lu Xun? The final reading time helped us pick half of the amount from 2040, and we finally put our reading into 1020 books.

Lin: I know that you have many very famous authors, such as Yan Geling and Wang Anyi, do you have your own exclusive criteria for selecting these authors?
LU: We do have a model called value judgment. I believe that value judgments, like Coca-Cola and Moutai, have their own recipes, they must exist and be kept secret.
But another thing I can make public is "like." Suppose there are 10 novelists who write in line with values and methodology, who are we going to chase? And then give him money at any cost and go to dinner every day? This is the factor of liking. Because people can't do things they don't like, we have a slogan inside called Believe in Everything You Like.
Lin: XiaoYi is the queen of airport bestsellers and the queen of 10 o'clock reading, and her public account "Woman with a Fragrant Soul" is doing a good job. Your fruit and wheat culture has done a good job with books and movies, and new media has done a good job, simply share your new media business?
Lu: We don't do things so brainy (laughs), and the new media business is not because we think clearly strategically and then layout, but also because we like it.
For example, baby Anne and I were in the same office as a teenager, and later published her books, and naturally had a lot of mutual friends, and I was also her reader. So I felt that we should connect similar people, so I made a WeChat public account with him. This public account should have less than 200,000 fans, but each issue has 40,000 views.
