But from the small surprise at the beginning, to the high energy of the medium range, to the overly sloppy ending, there is more and more controversy about "Sweeping Black Storm", and the show is also widely regarded as a tiger.
Of all the controversies, the controversy over the role of the positive and negative is the most prominent. These controversies focus on the positive characters He Yong, Lin Hao, and Huang Xi. Because they are relative to the villain role, there is a big gap in the three-dimensionality of the role, and even to some extent can only be regarded as a tool man.

However, from the plot point of view, the creation of the role of He Yong is not satisfactory.
First of all, from the perspective of plot advancement, although He Yong is the executive person in charge of the entire case, the control of the overall situation is Luo Group Leader, the black policeman Pei Wei who constantly digs out clues, Li Chengyang who promotes the entire icebreaker, and Xu Yingzi's classmate Lin Hao who discovers Sun Xing's problem.

For example, after Lin Hao and Pei Wei finished reporting, he just said that he would continue to investigate or continue to dig up. To say that he really played a role in the play, I am afraid that he wanted to find a way to persuade Li Chengyang to let Li Chengyang help him investigate the case. In return, he managed to restore his police status to investigate this part.
But the restoration of Li Chengyang's identity as a policeman is itself one of the very unreasonable places of this drama. Although Lee Sung-yang is devoted to the police, his obsession is innocence rather than the police force. Then he is in his 40s and 50s, is it appropriate to return to the police force?
The screenwriter probably forgot that Li Chengyang once said to Ma Shuai's daughter-in-law that he should run the company well. Secondly, the character of He Yong itself does not have much character development. What the beginning of the plot looks like, and what the end of the plot still looks like. Liu Yijun is a good actor, yes, but not Liu Yijun, it seems that there will be no change in changing other people.

Compared with He Yong, Lin Hao's role performance seems to be more and more three-dimensional.

But when presenting this character, the director's approach is not smart enough.
Taking Lin Hao's arrest of yang dong as an example, he can obviously directly capture the other party cleanly, but he has to put on a cool expression, and then watch Yang Dong escape, and then stage a chase and fight to show his bravery.
It is said that Yang Dong's prototype is a local evil force in Hainan. He illegally mined and controlled farmers' markets and entertainment venues, benefiting more than 2 billion yuan. After his arrest, Huang Hongfa was executed on July 30, 2020.
Although we as the audience know that the director hopes to give Zhang Yixing more space for expression and allow him to show his skills, this kind of expression is too naïve and lacks wisdom, which will only have the opposite effect.
From the perspective of the overall plot, Lin Hao's line, or Xu Yingzi's line, has less absolute impetus to the main line, and more is just to set off Sun Xing's evil.
In terms of function, the value of Lin Hao and reporter Huang Xi is actually close, and there is a suspicion of duplication in function. Judging from the whole drama, Lin Hao used Huang Xi's evidence to extinguish the beauty loan; the undercover nightclub relied on Huang Xi's evidence; Sun Xing's identity was Gao He, and He Yun was undercover, relying on Huang Xi's evidence.
Therefore, assuming that there is no role of Lin Hao, Huang Xi gives the clue to He Yong, and there will be no disconnection in the whole plot.
After watching the whole drama, our impression of Lin Hao's role may only be handsome, brave, and a sense of justice, as well as a bit of brainlessness. This kind of role label is obviously not three-dimensional enough, and it is not even as strong as Pei Wei's sense of speculation.
I have to say that the design of Lin Hao's role is too thin, and there is not much room for expression.
In fact, if Zhang Yixing can idolize baggage and play the role of Sun Xing, there will be a very big challenge, and may even become a bright spot like Sun Xing now. From the point of view of the scene, Sun Xing's part is not too bad for Lin Hao, and it can also be strengthened to give Zhang Yixing more space.

However, the entanglement and pain in Huang Xi's body are too superficial, even if it is the shock of seeing Sun Xing in He Yun's home and the pain of turning back to persuade He Yun, it is completely impossible for people to empathize. When she faced He Yun and Sun Xing, she could actually have fear, dazedness, panic, and overwhelmed, but in Jiang Shuying's eyes, she only saw the stunnedness of the wooden chicken.
In order to make Huang Xi and Lin Hao have an emotional connection, the screenwriter let Lin Hao rob Huang Xi's U Disk and the logic of the two people's mouths, which also made people feel that their IQ was limited, and they could only sigh "Can you still play like this?" ”
Huang Xi's role development is also more childlike. After resigning, Huang Xi's next career plan was to start a public account from scratch. This also fully reflects the screenwriter's ignorance of the self-media industry.
When Huang Xi finally persuaded He Yun to turn himself in, the screenwriter dug a super big hole. The audience knows that out of family affection, Huang Xi does not know what to do, so he finally chooses to escape and leave the city of Green Vine.
However, since she left and chose to escape, how could she report it to Lin Hao? Isn't that just standing again? She chose to report it, and there was no need to persuade He Yun to turn herself in. She finally went to persuade He Yun to turn herself in, isn't this a brain ice? Is it to escape or not to escape, to cover up or not to cover up, to tangle or not to tangle?
Overall, when the anti-black storm is finished, we will review the roles of He Yong, Lin Hao and Huang Xi, and we will find that there is a high degree of similarity and lack of diversity.
Especially when we compare He Yong with Gao Mingyuan, Lin Hao and Hu Xiaowei, Huang Xi and Sun Xing, this sense of experience will be even stronger. Compared with the villains' three-dimensional, hateful but distinctive bad, the good of the decent is too thin, and lacks a sense of reality and pyrotechnics.

In fact, in "In the Name of the People", there are also the same problems to a certain extent. But in addition, as a decent Chen Yan, Ji Changming, and Yi Xue also have their own characteristics, not to mention Li Dakang, Zhao Dehan and Sun Liancheng.

But if they can add more sense of life and more humanity, in fact, this type of film will have more chewing heads, and it will also make everyone feel that the heroes are actually close to themselves.
Finally, to add, although the overall setting of the decent characters is not as good as the villains, the whole drama is still flawed. As one of the few TV dramas that dares to face the dark side of society, "Sweeping Black Storm" still gives us a lot of surprises, and I hope that there will be more such good works to meet with you in the future.
