17 May is World Telecommunication and Information Society Day. In order to enhance the people's awareness of the safety of the "three electricity" facilities and further create a good atmosphere for the safety protection of the "three electricity" facilities, the public security management detachment of the Ordos Municipal Public Security Bureau, together with the Ordos Power Supply Company, Kangbashi Branch, Yiqi Public Security Bureau, China Mobile Company, Unicom Company, Telecommunications Company, Ordos Radio and Television Network Company and other members of the "Three Electricity" Facilities Safety Protection Work Joint Conference Member Units carried out the "5.17" special publicity activity for the safety protection of the "three electricity" facilities in Mengxin Square, Kangbashi District.
During the activity, the police introduced the importance of protecting the "three electricity" facilities to the masses by distributing leaflets, hanging propaganda banners, distributing manuals, explaining safety knowledge, etc., and guided the masses to consciously participate in the safety protection of the "three electricity" facilities. At the same time, typical cases will be exposed, and the law will be explained with cases, so as to effectively deter illegal and criminal activities of theft and sabotage of "three electricity" facilities, and further enhance the safety awareness of the people to abide by the law and consciously protect the "three electricity" facilities.
A total of more than 1,100 copies of publicity materials and more than 800 copies of related publicity materials were distributed in this publicity activity, and more than 200 people explained to the masses, which achieved good social results. The public security organs in other flag districts simultaneously carried out publicity activities, and the city's public security department dispatched more than 120 police officers and more than 40 police cars on the theme publicity day. More than 4,400 leaflets were distributed, 8 publicity points and consultation points were set up, more than 30 banners were hung, and more than 40 publicity display boards were set up. In the next step, the Ordos Municipal Public Security Bureau will cooperate with the "three electricity" departments and enterprises to continue to carry out the publicity work of the safety protection of the "three electricity" facilities. Adopt a variety of effective forms, make full use of various channels and platforms, strengthen the publicity of relevant safety precautions and laws and regulations, widely mobilize social forces, weave a dense safety net for mass prevention and treatment, and form an atmosphere for the whole society to jointly protect the safety of the "three electricity" facilities.
What are the "three electricity" facilities?
1. Transformers, transmission lines, towers and poles used to support transmission lines in the power sector.
2. Public telephone booths, cable lines, base stations, air conditioners, storage batteries and other internal facilities used for transmitting signals in telecommunications and other communication departments.
3. Cables, closed lines, base stations, power supplies, amplifiers and other facilities in the radio and television sector.
Why protect the "three electric measures"?

What are the penalties for destroying the three power facilities?
1. Article 124 of the Criminal Law of the People's Republic of China: "Whoever destroys radio and television facilities or public telecommunications facilities, endangering public safety, shall be sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment of not less than three years but not more than seven years; where serious consequences are caused, a sentence of not less than seven years imprisonment is to be given. Whoever commits the crime in the preceding paragraph by negligence is to be sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment of not less than three years but not more than seven years; where the circumstances are more minor, a sentence of up to three years imprisonment or short-term detention is to be given. ”
2. Article 33 of the "Public Security Administration Punishment Law of the People's Republic of China": "Anyone who steals or damages public facilities such as electric power and telecommunications facilities, radio and television facilities, shall be detained for up to 15 days. ”
How to protect the three-power facilities?
1. The warning signs, markers and slope protection on the communication optical cable line are important facilities to ensure the safety of the optical cable, and cannot be moved or damaged at will.
2. Do not excavate soil, build houses, plant trees or other buildings within 3 meters above the buried communication fiber optic cable line.
3. Once you find relevant illegal and criminal acts, while protecting yourself, report to the relevant departments by dialing "110".
