South China: Chen Yuqing reports
In order to practice the concept of people-oriented volunteer service and realize the "zero distance" of convenience and benefit, the service of the civilized practice station in the new era has temperature.
On May 15, 2024, a total of 11 Dongwang volunteers from the Nan'an Success Classroom in Quanzhou, Fujian Province and the Hongse Area of Nan'an, Quanzhou, each brought the required tools to the New Era Civilization Practice Station in Jinshan Village, Xiamei Town, Nan'an City, Quanzhou, Fujian Province to provide normalized convenience services.
Volunteers cleaned the service venue in advance before 8 o'clock, and put the garbage at the designated location, so as to arrange the daily work of today's convenience service in advance. After 8 o'clock, there were several grandmothers who brought all kinds of knives one after another and asked for help to sharpen. Some came to get a haircut, and some brought their little grandchildren, and the volunteers immediately warmly received them, starting to cut hair, sharpen knives, scissors, and even machetes, some trim trees, and some clean, they cooperated tacitly, and they were very busy. In the service, I played homely with the grandmothers, and the heart-warming laughter reflected the "zero distance". The grandmothers looked at each other's hairstyles that were very energetic, held sharpened tools in their hands, and looked at the volunteers who were very patient, enthusiastic and enthusiastic, both practical and caring, and they were full of praise for the volunteers.
Through this normalized convenience service, it is integrated into the daily life of nearby villagers, so that the people can enjoy convenient services at their doorstep, so that they can feel the full happiness brought by volunteer service and dedication.
