Gu Zhongqi emphasized that the establishment of a principal responsibility system under the leadership of the party organization of primary and secondary schools is a major political task personally led, deployed and promoted by General Secretary Xi Jinping, and is the fundamental guarantee for running an education that satisfies the people. It is necessary to earnestly improve the political position, further enhance the sense of responsibility and urgency, scientifically select and employ people in accordance with the authority of cadre management, pay attention to the selection of outstanding party members and cadres with strong party spirit, understand education, and know how to manage to serve as the secretary of the party organization of the school, and strive to cultivate a team of principals who are politically competent, have noble moral character, and are professionally skilled. It is necessary to strengthen the investigation and supervision of primary and secondary schools, promptly analyze and solve problems in work, and exchange and summarize good experiences and good practices. For schools with a large number of students and a high degree of social concern, the administrative departments for education should establish a system of fixed-point contact between team members and a system of regular on-campus research to ensure that the work is solidly advanced.
At the meeting, the "Notice of the Organization Department of the Yexian County Party Committee of the Communist Party of China, the Education Working Committee of the Yexian County Party Committee of the Communist Party of China, and the Yexian County Education and Sports Bureau on Printing and Distributing the "Implementation Plan for the Comprehensive Establishment of the Principal Responsibility System Led by the Party Organization of Primary and Secondary Schools" was read out; Yexian No. 2 Experimental School and Sendai Town Central School made exchange speeches.
