On the occasion of the 16th National Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Day, on May 11, Qianwei Street organized the "Avant-garde Blade" earthquake rescue exercise, aiming to test the rapid response, actual combat disposal and combat logistics support capabilities of the emergency rescue team, and improve the scientificity and rationality of earthquake disaster rescue.

Earthquake simulationOn May 11, 2024, a large earthquake occurred around Kunming, and the avant-garde street was strongly felt, accompanied by heavy rain, and the houses in a community were partially damaged, which had great potential safety hazards, the urban river was blocked, and the river overflowed the embankment to obstruct traffic.
The team assembles
After receiving the earthquake, the sub-district office immediately activated the emergency plan, set up a command center, and quickly mobilized more than 30 people in 8 vehicles of the emergency rescue team to rush to the disaster area with earthquake rescue equipment and support materials, and at the same time linked the District Earthquake Prevention and Disaster Reduction Bureau, the District Fire and Rescue Brigade, the avant-garde health service center, the Municipal Drainage Company, the Beijing Enterprises Company, the avant-garde young talent party branch, the street communities, the volunteer service team and other departments to start the emergency linkage mechanism.
Camp setup
After the emergency rescue team arrived at the exercise site, Fu Cultural Square Park, set up command tents and placement tents in the designated area, and set up functional zones such as work areas, resettlement areas, and material areas to ensure basic needs.
Combat operation
The drill was based on the earthquake causing damage to houses in the community, injuring some people, and heavy rain that caused the river to be blocked and the river overflowing. With the sound of the earthquake alarm, the drill officially kicked off, and all parties involved in the treatment of the wounded and emergency flood control responded immediately, and quickly organized the masses to evacuate to a safe place in a fast and orderly manner according to the planned route.

Second, the rescue team should strengthen the awareness of preparedness, and in view of the problems in the personnel grouping and professional strength in this exercise, it is necessary to pull out the list list, actively rectify it, effectively improve the ability to deal with various disasters, and always make emergency preparations.
