What exactly is "fasting"?
(1) Maintain a normal diet the night before blood drawing, and the fasting time should be 8-12 hours, but should not exceed 16 hours.
(2) You can drink a small amount of water, generally no more than 100ml. However, you cannot drink milk, soy milk, coffee and other beverages.
After the blood is drawn, local pressure should be applied for 3-5 minutes, and the adhesive tape should not be rubbed or repeatedly removed to see if it is still bleeding, so as not to cause subcutaneous hematoma.
