The fifth batch of typical cases of new agricultural business entities

The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs has successively released four batches of typical cases of farmer cooperatives and family farms, which have achieved good demonstration results. In order to better play a typical leading role, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs launched the fifth batch of typical cases of new agricultural business entities nationwide, and determined the fifth batch of typical cases of new agricultural business entities (45 farmer cooperatives and 41 family farms) after recommendation, selection and publicity. It is now released for recommendation.

These typical cases cover different fields, involve a variety of industries, and have distinctive practices, which fully reflect the obvious results of innovating systems and mechanisms, cultivating new agricultural business entities, and serving the common development of small farmers in recent years.

The first is to improve the yield level of grain and oil crops and help stabilize production and supply. These cases reflect the effective practice of the new agricultural operators to give full play to the advantages of moderate-scale operation and ensure the stable and safe supply of grain and important agricultural products, and through the screening and ripening and integrated promotion of large-scale yield improvement technical solutions for major crops such as grain and oil, they have driven small farmers to grow a variety of grains and grow good grains, and promoted the transformation of experimental demonstration output into field output.

The second is to enhance service operation capabilities and achieve quality improvement and strong capabilities. Through the application of advanced technology and modern equipment, the implementation of variety cultivation, quality improvement, brand building and standardized production can improve the level of production and operation, actively use digital tools to standardize financial management and organizational operations, enhance the ability to serve members, and closely connect with the interests of small farmers.

The third is to pay attention to integrated development and highlight economies of scale. These cases reflect the practical exploration of the innovative development model of new agricultural business entities and the strengthening of joint cooperation, and enhance market competitiveness and anti-risk ability through the establishment of farmer cooperatives with family farms as the main members, the establishment of cooperatives or enterprises by farmers' cooperatives, the development of industry associations, and the docking of social enterprises, so as to build a modern agricultural management system with multiple subjects, complementary functions and efficient operation.

Fourth, participate in rural development and construction, and promote the comprehensive revitalization of rural areas. Through the development of green, ecological and efficient agriculture, cultivating new industries, new models and new kinetic energy, expanding the multiple functions of agriculture, tapping the multiple values of rural areas, and contributing wisdom and strength to the comprehensive revitalization of rural areas.

On the basis of adhering to household contract management, cultivating new-type agricultural business entities engaged in agricultural production and services is a major strategy that has a bearing on the mainland's agricultural modernization. Agricultural and rural departments at all levels should carry out in-depth actions to promote new agricultural business entities, give full play to the radiation and driving role of new agricultural business entities on small farmers, strengthen typical demonstration and guidance, and guide the majority of farmer cooperatives and family farms to explore models, mechanisms and effective paths for high-quality development according to local conditions.
