The Panjiakou Reservoir is an important water source for the Luan-Tianjin project. From strengthening coordinated legislation on ecological protection, to promoting the construction of cross-regional air pollution emergency warning mechanisms, and carrying out joint law enforcement, the three places continue to promote joint air pollution control and continuously improve regional air quality.
Supporting the environmental "ecological umbrella", Hebei has coordinated the comprehensive management of mountains, rivers, forests, fields, lakes, grasslands and sands, implemented key projects such as the control of sand sources in Beijing and Tianjin, the three-north shelter forest, and the comprehensive treatment of Yanshan in Taihang Mountain, and completed a total of 68.69 million mu of afforestation in the province from 2014 to 2023.
