01—◤Night crawling reservation process◥
To climb Laojun Mountain at night, you need to verify the ticket of the scenic spot at the ticket gate of the scenic spot, and then go to the starting point of the night climbing passage to verify the "trekking reservation QR code".
Step 1: Purchase Laojun Mountain tickets in advance (those who meet the ticket reduction policy need to show relevant documents at the ticket gate);
Step 2: Make an appointment for trekking and mountaineering tickets, and make an appointment in the menu bar of the official WeChat public account of Laojun Mountain Scenic Area "Laojun Mountain Scenic Area" [Reservation and Ticket Purchase] - [Hiking Reservation].
●Special reminder: The reservation channel for night climbing will be opened 2 days in advance; You can only make a reservation once within 7 days, so please confirm your itinerary before making a reservation.
02—◤ Night Climb Starting Point ◥
The starting point of the night climb is located near the Lingguan Hall at the foot of the mountain. The night climbing passage is open at 22:30 in the evening, and the night crawling reservation check-in time is 22:30-23:30 (the scenic spot will be closed after 23:30 and the ticket inspection will be stopped).
Before entering the park, you need to check the ticket at the ticket gate, and then climb to the vicinity (Lingguan Palace, Erdaogang) to enter the park at night. The night climb is 23.7 kilometers long and takes 5-7 hours to reach the summit on foot. There are a number of service areas and shops along the way for tourists to rest and replenish their energy.
03—◤ Night crawling related time ◥
(Note: The following times are subject to change depending on the season and weather.)
1. The business hours of Laojun Mountain Scenic Area are now implemented from 7:30 to 18:00 every day (during the holiday, the business hours will be appropriately advanced and extended). Because there is accommodation in the scenic area, you can check in 24 hours to enter the park.
2. Ascend the mountain by cableway: 7:30-15:30. Due to the lack of tour time, the Laojun Mountain Scenic Area Cableway stops receiving upward tourists at 15:30 every afternoon. It is recommended that visitors choose to take the ropeway up the mountain the next day.
3. The latest descent time by cableway: 19:30. If you do not stay overnight at the top of the mountain, it is recommended to take the ropeway down the mountain as soon as possible after watching the night lights to avoid the inconvenience caused by the descent peak or the suspension of the ropeway.
4. The sunrise time is around 5:30 in the morning, the sunset time is around 19:30 in the afternoon, the time of each day changes slightly, it is recommended to live at the top of the mountain one day in advance, go out 20 minutes in advance, find a viewing position and wait for the sunrise.
5. The lighting time of the night view of Laojun Mountain is now implemented from 18:40 to 19:20 and 3:30 to 5:30 in the morning every day.
6. Hiking time and session: 6:30-16:00 during the day of hiking, 22:30-23:00 for night hiking (Please be sure to pay attention to the weather forecast in advance and arrange the climbing time reasonably.) In the event of a thunderstorm or other unexpected circumstances, the hiking pass will be closed, and all people in the scenic area will not be allowed to go up and down the mountain through the pass. ）
04—◤ Night climbing fee ◥
Tickets: 100 yuan/person-time, students from primary and secondary schools across the country can enjoy a half-price discount of 50 yuan/person with their original ID cards, student ID cards, student status information, etc.
Ropeway: You don't need to take the ropeway to climb the mountain at night, the ropeway stops running at night, and you can choose to take the ropeway when you go down the mountain the next day. Fenglin Cableway (Shili Painting Screen Entrance to Zhongtianmen Location) is 40 yuan/person per person, and Yunjing and Zhongling Cableway (Zhongtianmen to the bottom of the mountain) is 65 yuan/person-time.
05—◤ Night climbing equipment ◥
✅ Backpack: Prepare a backpack to make it easy to carry things.
✅ Jacket: Bring an extra long-sleeved jacket for climbing the mountain in the middle of the night and heating up at the summit and waiting for the sunrise at the summit.
✅ Flashlight: At night, the lights of Laojun Mountain are sparse and weak, so it is recommended to bring climbing lighting.
✅ Trekking poles: For friends who are not very good in physical strength, they can play a good auxiliary function and relieve the bearing capacity of the knees.
✅ Water and food: Walking and climbing are physically demanding, so food and water are essentials and you can bring your own or buy them at the shops in the service area along the way.
✅ Power bank: It takes 5-7 hours to climb the mountain at night, bring a power bank in case you need it. You can also travel lightly, and there are shared charging treasures in the service area along the way.
06—◤ Precautions for night climbing◥
1. Beware of being deceived, please be sure to buy tickets through official channels, and refuse high-priced tickets from unknown sources such as scalper tickets, in case the ticket information does not match your identity information during the ticket inspection, resulting in inability to enter the park;
2. The night trekking ticket check-in time is: 22:30-23:30, please allocate the time reasonably and save the trekking reservation QR code in advance (please click the URL in the reservation SMS to view the QR code);
3. Laojun Mountain is 2217 meters above sea level, with a total length of 23.7 kilometers on foot, and the whole journey takes about 5-7 hours.
4. It is forbidden to enter the fire escape by climbing over the fence when the hiking passage is closed;
5. The elderly, the infirm, people with heart disease, high blood pressure and other people who are not suitable for strenuous exercise are forbidden to hike up and down the mountain through this passage, and minors need to hike up and down the mountain accompanied by their guardians; If you are walking with less than 3 people, please go with other tourists.
6. Please walk along the winding mountain road on foot, and it is forbidden to take forks in the road, so as to avoid dangerous situations such as entering the cliff by mistake, getting lost, and encountering wild animals;
7. Please pay attention to the weather forecast in advance and arrange the climbing time reasonably. In the case of thunderstorms or bad weather, the night climbing passage is closed, and all people are prohibited from going up and down the mountain through the passage;
