Panax notoginseng is the bright pearl of traditional Chinese medicine in the mainland, Wenshan is the origin of Panax notoginseng and the provincial production area, and is also the country's largest notoginseng raw material trading and distribution center, which was awarded the title of "hometown of notoginseng" in China by the China Specialty Association, and is known as the "capital of Panax notoginseng" in the world.
On the morning of May 12, the participants went to Hongqi Forest Farm in Wenshan City and Panlong Township in Yanshan County to inspect the demonstration base of Panax notoginseng under the forest, the industrialization base of pollution-free Panax notoginseng varieties, the germplasm resource garden of Panax notoginseng in Yunnan Province, the breeding base of Panax notoginseng varieties, the industrial digital platform of Wenshan "Panax notoginseng", and the Panax notoginseng science and technology demonstration park in Miao Township, Wenshan.
On the afternoon of May 12, at the China Wenshan Panax notoginseng quality upgrade seminar, Zhang Boli, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, made a video speech, Zheng Wenke, secretary general of the National Chinese Materia Medicaf Standardization and Quality Assessment Innovation Alliance, released the "China Wenshan Panax notoginseng quality upgrade achievement report", and Chinese Academy of Engineering academicians Zhu Youyong, Zhu Zhaoyun, Chen Shilin and other experts and scholars jointly launched the Wenshan Sanqi Forum.
