On May 11th, the first Guo Tai Culture Seminar and the launching ceremony of the collection of Guo Tai cultural research literature at home and abroad was held in Zhangbi Castle, where leaders and experts from inside and outside the province gathered together to discuss Guo Tai culture, deeply excavate the spiritual connotation of Guo Tai culture and the value of the new era, continue the Chinese cultural context, and promote the creative transformation and innovative development of Chinese excellent traditional culture.
At the seminar, Yang Donghui, member of the Standing Committee of the Jiexiu Municipal Party Committee and Minister of the Propaganda Department, extended a warm welcome to the participants. Experts and scholars quoted classics and expressed their opinions, focusing on the outstanding characteristics of Guo Tai culture and Chinese civilization, and the spiritual enlightenment of Guo Tai culture to the people in today's society, which further deepened the academic research of Guo Tai culture and enriched the connotation of Guo Tai culture in the times.
Li Shuntong, former director of the Shanxi Provincial Department of Labor, advisory member of the Chinese Culture Promotion Association, and executive vice president of the Shanxi Popular Painting and Calligraphy Institute, Guo Tianyin, a member of the Chinese Writers Association and a famous writer, and Zhang Peirong, former director of the Jiexiu Municipal People's Congress, and other experts and scholars delivered keynote speeches respectively.
Jia Keqin, a cultural and historical librarian of the Counselor's Office of the Shanxi Provincial People's Government and vice president and secretary general of the Sanjin Cultural Research Association, believes that the historical transmission of the Jin Dynasty and Guotai culture has its unique advantages compared with other places in the country. "We must reaffirm the status of Jiexiu Guotai culture in the history of the birth of Chinese civilization, make good use of the relevant tangible and intangible 'cultural wealth', clean up the family foundation, protect and develop folk and folk resources, carefully plan and build relevant facilities, promote the social and economic development and cultural revitalization of Jiexiu and even Shanxi, unite social centripetal force, and make every effort to build a harmonious society."
The ceremony was presided over by Hao Jiwen, vice chairman of the Jiexiu CPPCC, guided by the Shanxi Sanjin Cultural Research Association and the Shanxi Guo's Cultural Research Association, sponsored by the Propaganda Department of the Jiexiu Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China, the Jiexiu Literary and Art Workers Federation, and the Jiexiu Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism.
