Because sometimes there is an unplanned situation, and you can't complete the original plan, which will cause your mood to gap. When I get the course assignment, I often change myself to the design director (although it may sound a bit secondary, but the experience is worth a wave of Amway haha~), get the bid, and imagine how I can design to attract the attention of Party A and stand out among the many schemes.
Then, with the thinking of the topic, do a comprehensive review of the previous design, learn the previous lessons and record the important nodes, and in the next drawing, avoid the not-so-good concepts that appeared last time, or the concepts that hinder the expression and hinder the design, and try to integrate your own ideas through this plan.
At the same time, it is also necessary to compare more with people from different schools, not stick to a corner of the campus, and consciously compare the differences between one's own school and other schools in terms of task orientation and teaching objectives, learn from each other's strengths, and find gaps.

Grasp the current trend of the times, maintain a high level of information sensitivity, and any segment has unlimited opportunities to dig deeper. The easiest way is to add more friends, participate in more activities, pay more attention to subscription accounts, and get the latest information from multiple platforms, majors, and fields, and you can get many unexpected surprises in addition to internship opportunities.
In the period of time after the end of the research institute, he has successively written experience posts and original case studies through the public platform, translated the cases of some overseas design institutions on Archidaily, and also edited some articles on the official account. Many research camps, internship opportunities, and activities are actually small-scale and vertically released, and if you don't dig it yourself, few people will take the initiative to stuff this information into your hands.

"Breaking the professional "segregation", architecture is never limited to architecture"
Be curious about any other profession and communicate more when you have the chance. For example, while Zaha, a master architect, had a background in mathematics before entering architecture, Calatrava combined bionics and architecture to create a new form of architecture that had never been seen before. It is difficult to imagine what kind of sparks will be generated by the collision of architecture with the knowledge of other professional disciplines. To be curious is to keep yourself alive in the discipline of architecture.
In the process of studying architecture, sometimes I feel that architecture students have been "isolated" from most majors to a certain extent during the five-year professional training, whether it is the formation of an aesthetic system in the circle, or a unique working mode and display style, you can think about whether your aesthetic and thinking methods have become different from those around you (non-architecture majors) after studying architecture?
For example, why do we think most sales departments are "commercial" and "tacky"? Why do many people think that "Big Lotus" is actually not ugly, or even good-looking? Are we being disciplined by an aesthetic system? There may not be a clear answer to these questions, but they are worth thinking about and being vigilant about. Architecture should not be an elitist profession that serves the aesthetic fetishes of a very small number of people, and we also need to learn more about the perspectives of other professions and learn from them what is outside our circle of competence.

"Confusion is the norm, but don't fall into a kind of nothingness"
In fact, I am still confused about the future, and after a period of focusing on the goal, I will always fall into a so-called "nothingness". At this time, the most important thing is to find something to do for yourself, avoid your confusion and boredom, and also avoid wasting more time because of confusion.
Using new media or some other platforms, looking for something that can fill the blank time, architectural media, architectural education, real estate design, etc., can be bold to try, just like a pony crossing the river, while young and more trial and error, more knowledge is always not wrong, in the continuous practice, we can have a little bit of clarity and grasp of the future direction.
