On May 8, with the consent of the State Administration of Cultural Heritage, the Chinese Museums Association publicized the evaluation results of the fifth batch of first-class museums in the national museum grading evaluation, and the 731st Unit of the Japanese Invasion of China was successfully selected.
Since its establishment in 1985, the museum has been committed to the collection, protection, research and display of the bacteriological warfare evidence of the "731" troops. The successful promotion to the national first-class museum is not only a recognition of the protection and utilization of the "731" site, exhibition planning, academic research and other aspects of the work, but also conducive to further play the role of the "731" site in strengthening patriotic education and carrying forward the spirit of the Great War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, so as to "let history speak and speak with historical facts".
In the future, the exhibition hall will strictly follow the operation standards of the national first-class museum, continue to uphold a professional and rigorous attitude, strengthen the protection and research of cultural relics in the collection, use modern scientific and technological means to improve the level of exhibition, provide the public with a more vivid and profound historical education experience, and truly realize the educational purpose of "displaying criminal evidence, exposing crimes, defending peace, and creating the future".
