Eight years ago, that moment full of passion and longing is still deeply imprinted in my heart. When I was still in my second year of junior high school, I was fortunate to participate in the opening ceremony of the first National Youth Games in 2015 at the Fuzhou Cross-Strait Olympic Sports Center.

After performing the martial arts show "Wing Chun", I met a group of armed police soldiers who were responsible for security work. They are tall and majestic, and every movement is full of strength and a sense of mission. At that moment, my eyes were full of envy and admiration, my mind was full of camouflage and national emblems, and a seed was quietly planted in my heart: in the future, I will also join the barracks, wear camouflage, and dedicate my youth to the party, the country and the people.

Time flies, and 8 years pass like a white horse. Finally, in September 2023, I got my wish and became an armed police soldier with honor. At this moment, my heart was surging and my pride overflowed my chest.

Looking back, the journey was full of hardships and challenges. In order to realize my dreams, I have overcome difficulties and surpassed myself again and again. I still remember that when I practiced the back flip in martial arts in my sophomore year of high school, I suffered a bone fracture in my right wrist due to deformed movements. As a result, I developed a strong fear of martial arts training, and a deep sense of frustration hung over me. During the injury break, I watched the military-themed TV series "Soldier Assault" by chance, and I learned the secret from the protagonist Xu Sanduo from the "old man" to the top, that is, to face setbacks, never give up, and take one step at a time. So I hung a plaster cast and insisted on training with my brothers, my hands were not good, I practiced my abdomen and legs, as long as my mind did not break down, there was always something to improve! Later, the frightening flip has become my "specialty". Whether it is facing the fatigue of practicing martial arts or the pressure of study, I have never flinched and have always been determined to move forward towards my military dream!

I am now wearing a military uniform and have served in the army for 8 months, transforming myself from a local youth to a qualified soldier. But what I remember vividly is that when I first joined the army, I could only pull two horizontal bars, and I would stop and rest every time I felt tired. One day, the squad leader asked us, "Do you want to be a special combat team?" They were the most elite fighters in the Armed Police Force, a group of fearless warriors, as tough as swords and as swift as thunder. They are the loyal guards of Fujian, and they are the sharp knives and iron fists of Haixi to maintain stability! "I was deeply encouraged by the squad leader's questioning, and from that moment on, I had a new goal: to go to special operations! Go to the hardest, most tiring but most handsome place! So I asked myself to do 300 push-ups every day, and I didn't want to rest until I was done. It wasn't until the end of the recruit company that I successfully passed the assessment with a score of 23 on the horizontal bar and was fortunate enough to become a reserve special combat member.

I am well aware of the great responsibility of this responsibility, and I also understand that the road to becoming a special combat team member will be full of difficulties and obstacles. But I have no fear, because the faith in my heart is like a torch, burning brightly, giving me infinite strength and pulling me forward firmly.
