Xinwushan News (Reporter Kang Zhengdong, Dong Shixiong, Wang Yue) On May 10, Wushan County held the launching ceremony of the 21st National Unity and Progress Publicity Month and the 2024 Vocational Education Publicity Month. Wang Zhicheng, deputy secretary of the county party committee and county magistrate, delivered a speech and announced the launch of the event, Ling Pengliang, member of the Standing Committee of the county party committee and minister of the United Front Work Department, presided over the launching ceremony, Li Yulan, member of the Standing Committee of the county party committee and minister of the Propaganda Department, Han Yonghong, deputy director of the Standing Committee of the County People's Congress, Li Feng, deputy head of the county government and chairman of the county Federation of Industry and Commerce, Liu Yaoqing, deputy head of the county government, and Dang Ronghua, vice chairman of the county CPPCC, attended the event.
In his speech, Wang Zhicheng, on behalf of the four leading groups of the county, expressed his heartfelt thanks to the friends of the county who care about and support the united front and ethnic and religious work. He pointed out that in recent years, Wushan County has adhered to the guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, with the sense of community of the Chinese nation as the main line, and has gathered the power of the united front in strengthening political guidance, promoting democratic consultation, maintaining ethnic unity, managing religion in accordance with the law, and helping the non-public economy.
Wang Zhicheng stressed that carrying out the propaganda month of national unity and progress is of great significance to further forge the sense of community of the Chinese nation, strengthen national unity, and build a harmonious Wushan. The whole county should be guided by General Secretary Xi Jinping's important thoughts on strengthening and improving ethnic work, closely focusing on the theme of "building dreams with one heart in the United States and Longyuan", and carry out various forms and rich content of Huimin performances, policy presentations, education and training and publicity reports, educate and guide cadres and people of all ethnic groups to build a common spiritual home, and promote the concept of "four together" and "five identities" to be deeply rooted in the hearts of the people, so that the tree of national unity has deep roots and leaves, and the flower of national unity will always bloom and flourish.
At the launching ceremony, the leaders present presented awards to the advanced individuals of national unity and progress in Wushan County, issued a letter of appointment as the spokesperson of Wushan County to forge the sense of community of the Chinese nation, and read out the "Implementation Plan for the 21st National Unity and Progress Publicity Month in Wushan County" and "Implementation Plan for the 2024 Vocational Education Publicity Month in Wushan County".
