Some people who are lucky enough to own a yacht do it primarily for leisure and recreation at sea, while others want to do more while cruising and enjoy the yachting experience to the fullest. To meet their needs, the shipyard Antonini Navi, based in La Spezia, Italy, has developed a new sporty multi-purpose yacht that combines sportiness, elegance and living comfort, and proves that yachting is not just for leisure and gathering.
Dubbed the SUY 135, this groundbreaking new design is the shipyard's response to the growing demand for a new type of yacht capable of navigating comfortably and luxuriously in deep water, but in close contact with the sea and marine life.
The SUY 135 is 44 meters (144 feet) long and 9.8 meters (32 feet) wide, and was designed by Aldo Manna, Partner and Sales Director of Antonini Navi, in collaboration with Arrabito, the studio responsible for naval engineering, and Fulvio De, a world-renowned designer who has designed more than 3,000 boats Conceived together by Simoni, they have created a sleek and powerful sculpture on the water that marks the beginning of the Italian shipyard's new product line, which will also include the SUY 190 and SUY 108 models, a new range of versatile yachts with all-round nautical capabilities.
The SUY 135 not only inherits the elegant aesthetics of a superyacht, but also incorporates world-class cruising capabilities. Its design is inspired by SUVs in the automotive industry, combining the comfort of an off-road vehicle with the sportiness of a road sedan. This yacht is not only suitable for adventure, but also for people to enjoy the beauty of the ocean while feeling unparalleled driving pleasure.
In addition, the SUY 135 has a strong loading capacity and is designed to carry a variety of annexes and water toys. It has a spacious transverse garage large enough to hold a 7-metre (23-foot) long RIB, as well as a variety of other toys, from jet skis and hovercraft to helicopters and submarines. This makes the SUY 135 the ideal choice for owners who love adventures at sea but prefer the elegance of a traditional yacht.
Aldo Manna nimbly compares it: "Like the SUV of the automotive world, SOY opens up endless possibilities for the yachting experience. "The idea is to allow owners and their guests to enjoy every moment of pleasure the yacht has to offer, whether it's toys, amenities, tender boats, or the sports and entertainment that the ocean has to offer." ”
The SUY 135 will be built with steel construction to ensure durability, with an interior volume of up to 480GT and a focus on personalisation, allowing owners to create unique interior and exterior configurations according to their preferences and needs.
In the proposed interior layout, five spacious and comfortable cabins can accommodate up to ten guests. On the main deck, a luxurious 56-square-metre master suite exudes exclusivity and luxury, while on the lower deck there are four en-suite cabins for privacy and comfort. In addition, there is a separate lounge area for the captain and five crew members on the lower deck to ensure comfort and convenience during the cruise.
Of course, owners can also opt for other cabin configurations according to their personal preferences and add modern facilities such as gym suites, spas/saunas to meet more diverse needs.
A highlight of the design is its externally raised deck area, which is connected to the main and upper decks by a short staircase. The design not only provides shade and shelter from the expansive 40-square-metre balcony, but also creates a chic alfresco dining area on the main deck below the balcony, allowing guests to enjoy a meal while enjoying stunning sea views.
The aft beach club is equipped with a hot tub for relaxation and pleasure, while the top sun deck offers a second Jacuzzi, bar counter and ample seating space to soak up the warm sun while soaking up the sea breeze and the lapping of the waves.
As for performance, Antonini Navi's new sport multipurpose superyacht will be powered by two 1,400 hp MAN main engines, with a range of 4,000 nautical miles (7,408 km) and a cruising speed of 10 knots and a top speed of 16 knots. It will also be equipped with a zero-speed stabilizer to further ensure enhanced comfort on board.
The first hull of the SUY 135 is currently under construction at the Pertusola shipyard in the Bay of La Spezia, Italy, and Moravia Yachting has been appointed as the exclusive agent for the sale of the new yacht. Deliveries are scheduled for 2026.
Moravia Yachting, sales broker at Moravia Yachting, said: "We are delighted to be working with Antonini Navi, a brand born under the umbrella of Gruppo Antonini, a long-established Italian manufacturer with more than 70 years of experience in ship construction and the operation of onshore and offshore oil and gas field structures, with an excellent reputation in the industry for its exceptional quality. Antonini Navi has been building hulls for other major brands of luxury yachting, and the launch of their own superyacht range has yielded encouraging commercial results. We are proud to represent Antonini Navi's SOY collection. "It's a unique product that combines innovation, practicality and luxury. ”
"Not only is this yacht large and large enough to accommodate all kinds of large water toys, but it also takes care of the owner's privacy and lifestyle down to the smallest detail. It can be said that the SUY 135 is not only a yacht, but also a living attitude, the perfect culmination of Antonini Navi's exquisite craftsmanship and excellent design. We look forward to seeing it shine even brighter on the water when it is officially delivered in 2026. ”
