The 27th Japan-China Karaoke Contest was launched as a cross-border music festival.
Since 1998, the contest has become a landmark platform for cultural exchange between China and Japan, attracting hundreds of singing enthusiasts every year. This year is particularly special as it coincides with the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China and the 45th anniversary of the signing of the China-Japan Cultural Exchange Agreement. With the arrival of spring, the registration activities for May have been launched online, warming up the wonderful competition in autumn.

Indomitable spiritual heritage
In the past 26 years, whether facing the challenges of SARS or the new crown epidemic, the Japan-China karaoke competition has never stopped. We have innovatively introduced a combination of online and offline competition mode to ensure that the torch of music can still be passed in difficult times. The success of each edition is the result of the enthusiasm and perseverance of countless participants, and the deep love for the art of singing and cultural exchange.
A unique way of cultural exchange
The special feature of this competition is its concept of "Chinese sing Japanese songs, Japanese people sing Chinese songs", and builds a bridge of Sino-Japanese friendship through music. Whether it's pop music, classic oldies or beautiful folk songs, every note transcends language and cultural barriers to reach a spiritual resonance.
Broad group of participants
All those who love singing are welcome to participate in this competition, regardless of age. Past contestants have ranged from five-year-olds to eighty-year-olds, and what they all have in common is a love for music. Many of them became active figures on the art scene of both countries after the competition.
