Can you imagine?

A big man who was admired by the people of the whole country during his lifetime was a hypocrite who did all the bad things behind his back.

And his unspeakable secret has been hidden for more than half a century-

"I don't rape you, how can you be a star?"

It wasn't until not long ago that the British BBC broadcast a documentary about Kitagawa, the "godfather of the Japanese entertainment industry", which exposed this scandal that had been sealed for a long time.

"I don't rape you, how can you be a star?"

(Documentary poster)

After the film aired, the world was shaken.

Especially the Japanese people.

They can't believe that the man who has been the most perfect in the eyes of the Japanese people for many years has torn off the last fig leaf and revealed such an ugly and obscene side.

Because the content of the documentary is too powerful, many people also question how credible the BBC documentary is.

So, what exactly does this documentary say?

Is the content in it groundless?

Let's start at the beginning –

"I don't rape you, how can you be a star?"

"The Great Godfather"

Janis Kitagawa is the one who created the Japanese entertainment industry.

Born in Los Angeles on October 23, 1931, he received a Western-style education and saw the extravagant life of Hollywood stars, which led to a yearning for the indulgent entertainment industry.

After the outbreak of the Pacific War, Japanese Americans were discriminated against in the United States, and Kitagawa returned to Japan several times to settle down, and in 1975 he established a firm that bears his name, Johnny's Associate.

Kitagawa is a very diligent worker, holds a number of world records, not only has held the most concerts in the world, but is also the producer of the world's most number one singles, which can be called the king of the entertainment industry.

And he led Denis, which absorbs about 200 Jr. newcomers every year, and after joining the company, Genesys will conduct professional training for them in various aspects, and after a series of tests and competitions, only a few people finally get the opportunity to debut.

And this brutal system, pioneered by Kitagawa, made the winners of the big wave shine even brighter: Four Leaves, SMAP, Arashi, Hideaki Takizawa, Takuya Kimura, Hitoshi Akanishi, Tomohisa Yamashita...... Countless top Asian male idols have become famous from here.

Kitagawa's vicious star-picking vision has completely changed the aesthetics of the whole of Asia, making everyone's aesthetic bias towards men more "beautiful men".

And he completely changed the entertainment industry in Asia-

Kitagawa's trainee system was borrowed and carried forward by the SM created by South Korea's entertainment industry boss Lee so-man.

And the many groups and personal idols he has created have also deeply influenced many latecomers in the Chinese entertainment industry.

For example, two years after the explosion of the junior team under Genesys, a Little Tiger team with a similar style appeared in Taiwan, China.

"I don't rape you, how can you be a star?"

Genesy's singer Masahiko Kondo's hit single "Sunset Song" was also re-written as a new song "Song of a Thousand Thousand Que", which became popular in the Chinese music circle after being covered by Anita Mui and Chen Huixian.

"I don't rape you, how can you be a star?"

On July 9, 2019, Kitagawa passed away due to illness at the age of 87.

On the same day, almost all of Japan's mainstream media carried the news on the front page as a sign of mourning.

"I don't rape you, how can you be a star?"

His funeral was attended by about 90 debut artists and almost all of Jr. (Genesys trainees), and most of the celebrity circles came, and even the then Japanese Prime Minister Abe mourned for him, thanking Kitagawa for his contribution to Japan.

"I don't rape you, how can you be a star?"

When I interviewed a passer-by on the street, I got a very high evaluation: "Kitagawa is God!"

"I don't rape you, how can you be a star?"

To this day, he can still be seen on the streets of Tokyo.

Just like a great hero, although the body has passed away, he has obtained another eternal life in the hearts of the public.

"I don't rape you, how can you be a star?"

After his death, some fans commented:

"Kitagawa is the one who dominates the aesthetic and definition of idols throughout Asia. ”

"He was like Santa Claus and brought each girl the gift of their life. ”

If only in terms of Kitagawa's life's achievements, he does deserve the title of "Godfather of the Japanese entertainment industry".

"I don't rape you, how can you be a star?"

"Dirty beasts": Nearly 500 victims, the youngest of whom was only 12 years old......

However, Kitagawa's fault is so great that it can undo the merits of his life-

"I don't rape you, how can you be a star?"

In 1999, the Japanese magazine Weekly Bunharu first published a scandal about Kitagawa.

The magazine interviewed 12 men who had trained in Dennis, and some of them revealed Janis's internal secrets.

"I don't rape you, how can you be a star?"

One interviewee, a former Jennis trainee in the '70s, told the magazine that he had been raped by Kitagawa, who was past middle age, at the age of 12, and that he had done so many as a dozen or twenty times.

"I don't rape you, how can you be a star?"

He told Bunchun Weekly that Kitagawa arranged for all the trainees to sleep together.

"I don't rape you, how can you be a star?"
"I don't rape you, how can you be a star?"
"I don't rape you, how can you be a star?"
"I don't rape you, how can you be a star?"
"I don't rape you, how can you be a star?"

And Kitagawa himself will sneak into the quilt from time to time while everyone is sleeping, and then select a boy to "massage" up and down his hands, stroking his lower body, and even KJ, until the boy SJ, the old man will give up, and then move on to the next target......

Some have even suffered intrusive injuries......

"I don't rape you, how can you be a star?"
"I don't rape you, how can you be a star?"
"I don't rape you, how can you be a star?"

Koji Kita, a former member of the popular group Four Leaves, also mentioned in his personal diary "Hikari GENJIへ" that he was raped by Kitagawa.

"I don't rape you, how can you be a star?"

Another man named Hayashi entered Janis training at the age of 15, and after the first day of work, Kitagawa asked him to take a shower, helped him take off his clothes and pants, and then helped him wipe and massage his whole body like a doll.

"I don't rape you, how can you be a star?"
"I don't rape you, how can you be a star?"

And eventually made a KJ on him.

"I don't rape you, how can you be a star?"

And when he walked out of Kitagawa's room, Denis's people taunted him in a familiar tone: "Do you hear the sound of broken dreams?"

"I don't rape you, how can you be a star?"

Even though the interviewees were middle-aged men in their 30s and 40s at the time of interview, they still burst into tears when they recalled their past encounters, and some even trembled all over, which shows how much damage that past caused them.

"I don't rape you, how can you be a star?"

However, instead of attention, the report waited for a lawsuit, and soon Kitagawa took Bunchun Magazine to court for defamation.

Ironically, after about four years of litigation, the court finally ruled that Kitagawa lost the case, and what Wenchun magazine described was true, and Kitagawa was convicted of sexual assault.

However, the victory still did not cause any splashes, and the mainstream Japanese media collectively silenced them, and Kitagawa was not sued.

"I don't rape you, how can you be a star?"

After quelling the turmoil, he continued to serve as president of Genesys for 16 years.

"I don't rape you, how can you be a star?"

It turns out that after the Wenchun incident, Kitagawa did not restrain in the slightest, and he was still violating the underage boys under the company-

Another former Jennis JR who broke the news is named Okamoto カウアン, and he is one of the few former Jennis trainees who appeared under a real name system to expose Kitagawa's crimes.

"I don't rape you, how can you be a star?"

Okamoto joined the company in 2012 and quit in 2016, and the first time he was violated by Kitagawa occurred when he was 15-16 years old, when he had just become a Guinness trainee for about 1-2 months.

He recalled that Kitagawa had a special room in his house for pleasure, in which two beds were placed, one for Kitagawa to sleep on himself, and the other for the boy who was "flopped".

At that time, Okamoto, like the other chosen boys, was called alone to Kitagawa's room, where he was forced to sleep with him and encountered groping. And all of this is evidenced by video.

"I don't rape you, how can you be a star?"

And after that time, Kitagawa's aggression against Okamoto became more and more frequent, and the plot became more and more violent, and even once, he was violated by Kitagawa at the same time as another boy in the same period, Hirano Ziyao...... At the time, they were all minors, but Kitagawa was in his 80s......

"I don't rape you, how can you be a star?"

Junya Hiramoto, another former Deenis debutant, told an even more amazing inside story-

Kitagawa's crime was not only sexual assault, but also more frightening: injecting underage teenagers with estrogen.

In this way, their secondary sexual characteristics, hair, and voice are all in a childish state, which is more in line with the aesthetics of Japanese pop culture.

However, it is a pity that in the face of these fierce news, the Japanese people think that it is just a paste coffee to pull the former owner to gain popularity, and even these whistleblowers have been abused because of this.

Until this BBC documentary aired, many Japanese people still did not believe that Kitagawa was such a bad person.

Even if multiple victims have produced conclusive evidence.

Even though the court had already convicted him of the crime.

And he is still revered as a godfather in Japanese society.

There are even teenagers who were abused by him back then, and they still respect him in court.

"I don't rape you, how can you be a star?"
"I don't rape you, how can you be a star?"

There are also victims who say that they are "deeply in love with Kitagawa" and write love songs to express their love for Kitagawa......

It's all unbelievable:

Why, are they so indulgent to rapists?

"I don't rape you, how can you be a star?"

All this is due to the special background of Japanese society.

On the one hand, Japanese society has a strong "Muqiang mentality".

Kitagawa, as the president of Genesys, holds the power of life and death for these teenagers who dream of stardom, and is a veritable powerhouse.

"I don't rape you, how can you be a star?"

And this absolute power leads to absolute obedience.

In this state of mind, the public acquiesced in Kitagawa's attitude towards pedophilia.

The parents of Jackie Chan learned about Kitagawa's habits, and in order to achieve the family's leap, they instead gave their children their own hands to create conditions for Kitagawa to do evil.

"I don't rape you, how can you be a star?"
"I don't rape you, how can you be a star?"
"I don't rape you, how can you be a star?"

And these children themselves, if they refuse at first, then they will be kicked out of the company by Kitagawa for various reasons and their dreams will be ruined.

"I don't rape you, how can you be a star?"
"I don't rape you, how can you be a star?"
"I don't rape you, how can you be a star?"

Some of the more ambitious children bluntly said that they slowly became voluntary, exchanging sexual relations for job opportunities.

And the children who grew up like this, after they were full-fledged, inflicted what Kitagawa did to their younger juniors (according to Okamoto, Kitagawa's style influenced the entire Genesys firm, and some of Denis's insiders also sexually assaulted company colleagues, but the company tacitly agreed).

In their opinion, becoming stronger can cover up many mistakes.

On the other hand, it is the Japanese who have a "culture of shame".

In Japan, family ugliness cannot be publicized, and it is still difficult for women to defend their rights if they are sexually assaulted, and it is even more shameful for Japanese society to be sexually assaulted.

"I don't rape you, how can you be a star?"
"I don't rape you, how can you be a star?"

The issue of overly sensitive "self" is mostly kept silent (an attitude that is surprisingly consistent among the Japanese when confronted with many issues left over from history).

The attitude is, don't listen, don't watch, don't discuss, bow and apologize, and then don't change.

But some things will eventually leave traces.

What is covered up, someone will eventually tell the truth.

History is an impartial arbiter that does not say a word, but explains everything.

Light up [Watching], share it, and let more people see the truth!

"Kitagawa died: The man who defined the word "idol" is gone", Sanlian Life Weekly "Genesys founder Kitagawa, was exposed to a sex scandal!Sexual assault of minors, choosing male artists to sleep with him is like choosing a concubine!", "The British BBC exposes Kitagawa's sexual assault, but the Japanese media collectively "remain silent" ......", in the Japanese Chinese circle

"I don't rape you, how can you be a star?"
