  On May 2, the ancestor worship ceremony of the 90th anniversary of the birth of Mr. Chen Qingzhou, an international Taijiquan master, was held in the Qingzhou Martial Arts Institute in Wenxian County. More than 300 inheritors of the ancient system from all over the country attended the meeting to commemorate the merits of the ancestors and revisit the mission of inheritance.

  Chen Qingzhou (June 1935 - September 2015), male, from Xulu Village, Huangzhuang Town, Wenxian County, Henan Province (formerly Linzhao Township), ancestral home is Chenjiagou. He is the eleventh generation descendant of Chen's Taijiquan, the provincial representative inheritor of Chen's Taijiquan, and an international Taijiquan master. He used to be a member of the Jiaozuo CPPCC and a member of the Standing Committee, the president of the Wenxian Qingzhou Martial Arts Institute, the deputy secretary-general of the China Jiaozuo (Wenxian) International Taijiquan Annual Conference, the chief coach of the Taijiquan of the Chen Qingzhou Kung Fu Research Association of the United States, the honorary president of the Xinxiang Chen's Taijiquan Chen Qingzhou Kung Fu Research Association, and the president of the Wenxian Qingzhou Martial Arts Institute. Since childhood, he practiced family martial arts, and in 1962, he worshiped Chen Zhaopi as his teacher, devoted himself to learning art, practiced hard, and was skilled in "walking", and was once known as a "hermit". He adheres to the tradition, respects the ancient but not the ancient, and seeks innovation in inheritance. He is the founder of the "Ancient Martial Arts Thought" and the founder of the Ancient Martial Arts System.

  At the ancestor worship ceremony, the descendants and disciples of Master Chen Qingzhou paid tribute on behalf of Chen Yougang and Mi Guangsheng, Chen Youjing, Chen Youqiang, Gao Jiaqi, Jiang Qijian, etc. presented flower baskets, Chen Qingzhou's eldest son Chen Youhe represented the ancient Taiji system on incense, and Chen Youhua, the fourth son of Master Chen Qingzhou, the director of the organizing committee of this event, and the president of Wenxian Qingzhou Martial Arts Academy, read out the sacrifice to express his admiration and nostalgia for his father and master. Chen You gave a speech of thanks

  On behalf of the family, he thanked people from all walks of life for their concern and support for his father and Taijiquan career, expressed his sincere gratitude to the guests and brothers who came from afar, and recalled his father's glorious journey as a generation of grandmasters in the Taijiquan world. He said that his father is not only the glory of the family, but also the heart and soul of the ancient Tai Chi system. My father devoted his life to the inheritance and development of Taijiquan, and although he had numerous honors, he always maintained a humble and simple character. His spirit of tenacity, forbearance, kindness and fraternity has been deeply integrated into the family style, leaving a precious spiritual wealth and eternal memories for the Taijiquan world. Teacher Chen Youze encouraged the brothers and sisters to shoulder the important responsibility of inheriting and carrying forward Taijiquan, unite as one, and work together to promote the prosperity and development of Taijiquan in the ancient system.
