Located in the main stream of the Hanjiang River, Yinghu Lake is the largest reservoir lake in Shaanxi Province and the largest freshwater lake in Northwest China, accounting for more than 60% of the total water inflow of the Danjiangkou Reservoir, and undertakes the important mission of water conservation in the middle route of the South-to-North Water Diversion Project. Over the past 10 years, the State Grid Ankang Hydropower Plant has thoroughly implemented the Ankang Hanjiang Water Quality Protection Regulations of the Ankang Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government, and fulfilled the political and social responsibilities of state-owned enterprises in accordance with the Interim Plan for the Salvage and Treatment of Floating Debris in Yinghu Lake. Normalize the salvage of floating debris in the Han River to ensure that a pool of clear water continues to go north, and create a beautiful and healthy environment with blue water and clear shores.
The Yinghu Lake Basin has a long shoreline, steep terrain, rich vegetation and wide water surface, and a large number of people from 4 counties (districts) of Ankang City live in the upper reaches. Floating debris on the surface of the water has not only become a major hidden danger affecting the water quality protection of the Han River, but also has a serious impact on the "Han River Gallery Dream Water Town".
