Energy Conservation Awareness Week Proposal
May 13 to May 19, 2024 is the National Energy Conservation Publicity Week, May 15 is the National Low Carbon Day, the theme of this year's Energy Conservation Publicity Week is: "Green Transformation, Energy Conservation", and the theme of Low Carbon Day is: "Green and Low-Carbon, Beautiful China". In order to thoroughly implement Xi Jinping's ecological civilization thought, closely follow the goal and task of carbon peak and carbon neutrality, implement a comprehensive conservation strategy, widely carry out publicity and education on energy conservation and carbon reduction, actively create a strong atmosphere of energy conservation and carbon reduction, and form a social trend of diligence and thrift and rational use of energy, on the occasion of the arrival of the 34th National Energy Conservation Publicity Week, the following initiatives are now issued to the majority of cadres, workers and people in the county:
1. Enhance the responsibility for energy conservation. The vast number of cadres, workers and people in the county should establish a diligent and thrifty consumption concept, cultivate a simple and environmentally friendly concept of life, resist and oppose all forms of luxury and waste, strive to be a demonstrator and promoter of thrift and thrift, and strive to be an organizer and supervisor of resource conservation.
Second, pay attention to saving electricity and water. Strengthen the awareness of electricity saving, starting from saving every kilowatt-hour of electricity. Do people turn off the lights to prevent "daytime lights" and "everlasting lights"; Advocate the broad masses of cadres, workers and the masses to walk up and down the stairs, and strive not to take the elevator within the three floors. Strengthen the daily inspection and maintenance management of water equipment, start from saving every drop of water, and put an end to the phenomenon of running, rising, dripping, leaking and "long flowing water". Actively create conditions to realize recycled water, one water for multiple purposes, and continuously improve the reuse rate of water.
3. Advocate green travel. Establish the travel concept of "can walk but not ride, can ride but not sit, can sit but not open", and actively choose energy-saving, efficient and healthy green travel modes such as buses, bicycles or walking to and from work; Priority is given to new energy vehicles for the renewal of official vehicles and the purchase of private cars.
Fourth, practice the "CD-ROM Action". Save food, oppose waste, advocate "CD-ROMs", and oppose "leftover feasts". Eat in the unit in moderation, cook at home with reasonable and healthy diets, eat out rationally, and do not engage in comparison. Strive to be an example of thrift and thrift, and show the power of "CD" with practical actions.
Fifth, the implementation of garbage classification. Advocate the county's cadres, workers and the people to take the initiative to master the knowledge of garbage classification, persistently carry out effective classification and accurate delivery of garbage, improve environmental awareness, and achieve garbage reduction from the source.
