On the occasion of the "May Day" festival, promoting the spirit of labor has become the main theme. On the morning of April 29, 2024, 10 volunteers from the Fugu Yude Classroom in Yulin, Shaanxi Province, in accordance with the arrangement of Gaoshiya Community in Fugu County, joined hands with various social groups to gather at Chaijiagou Cultural Square to participate in the celebration of the "May Day" art performance.
This event brought together more than a dozen literary and artistic groups such as Gaoshiya Community, East Road Community Yellow River Art Troupe, Fugu Moral Promotion Association, Gaoshiya Sunset Red Dance Team, Fugu Youth Dance Association, and Fugu Mingde Primary School. There were more than 1,000 leaders and people from various units of the Gaoshiya community who came to watch.
At 8 a.m., when the volunteers arrived at the performance venue, they were busy with the community staff, setting up the stage, laying carpets, hanging curtains, pulling banners, and installing sound to prepare for the event.
At 2 p.m., the event officially opened. The staff of Gaoshiya community took the lead in bringing the dance "Spring Breeze 100,000 Miles" and the sketch "Preaching the 20th National Congress". Subsequently, Dongwang volunteers presented the straw hat dance "Earth Flying Song" and "Red Song Dance". The Sunset Red Dance Team of Gaoshiya Village performed the song and dance "Flowers Bloom China" and "Liuyang River", the Yellow River Art Troupe of the East Road Community presented the song and dance drama "Dongfang Hong", as well as the local opera "Playing Money", and more than a dozen literary and artistic units such as the fan dance "Vitality China" selected by the Youth Association also appeared one after another. The actors' beautiful singing and graceful dancing won bursts of applause from the audience. Finally, all the actors sang "Without the Communist Party, there would be no New China", which drew a successful end to the event. After the event, the volunteers took the initiative to dismantle the stage and sound equipment, and cleaned the venue before leaving the square.
This activity not only enriches the cultural life of the masses, but also inherits the red gene, enhances the relationship between the party and the masses, gathers the strength of the masses, and plays a positive role in promoting the building of spiritual civilization in the community.
