On April 29, the opening ceremony of the first cabinet of South African Royal Galli apples imported by Red Star Agricultural Products Supply Chain Management (Hunan) Co., Ltd. was held in Red Star Global Agricultural Batch Center. Wang Donghua, member of the party group and deputy director of the Changsha Municipal Bureau of Commerce, Tan Lei, member of the party group and deputy director of the logistics port office of the Changsha Municipal Government, Wen Guohua, deputy director of the animal and plant inspection department of Changsha Customs, Sun Xiaojie, the second-level supervisor of the animal and plant inspection department of Changsha Customs, and Xiao Xiangdong, deputy head of the Yuhua District People's Government, attended the event, and the relevant responsible comrades of the District Bureau of Commerce, Red Star Industrial Group Co., Ltd. and nearly 40 heads of enterprises of the Red Star Import Industry Alliance participated.
It is understood that in March this year, the Hunan Provincial Department of Commerce organized a business delegation to South Africa to carry out economic and trade docking, and Red Star Agricultural Products Supply Chain Management (Hunan) Co., Ltd. signed an in-situ direct procurement agreement as a representative, which marks another solid step in the expansion of Yuhua District's non-import business.
After the opening ceremony, the People's Government of Yuhua District held a research and symposium on the Red Star Import Industry Alliance at the Red Star Global Agricultural Batch Center, and awarded the Red Star Import Alliance plaque and contribution enterprise certificate to 8 outstanding enterprises.
In recent years, national platforms such as the China-Africa Economic and Trade Expo, the China-Africa Economic and Trade In-depth Cooperation Pilot Zone, and the National Import Trade Promotion Innovation Demonstration Zone have successively settled in Changsha Yuhua, making new breakthroughs in economic and trade cooperation with Africa. As one of the key platforms of Changsha Yuhua National Import Trade Promotion Innovation Demonstration Zone, Red Star Global Agricultural Batch Center is a national key leading enterprise in agricultural industrialization. Since the approval of the import demonstration zone, we have made every effort to promote the multiple integrated development of import and industry, import and consumption, and import and circulation. With the support of all levels and departments, the Red Star Import Industry Alliance will achieve gratifying results in expanding the scale of imports, enriching the varieties of imports, and improving the quality of imports, making important contributions to the high-quality economic development of the whole region.
In the next step, Yuhua District will continue to rely on the Red Star Global Agricultural Wholesale Center to accelerate the construction of a two-way fresh trade high-speed channel between China and Africa, driven by the two-way engine of "buying the world and selling the world", to help "Hunan products go out of Hunan and excellent products enter Hunan Province", and further accelerate the formation of a mutually beneficial and win-win trade situation between buyers and sellers at home and abroad. At the same time, closely focusing on the goal of integrated development of national platforms such as pilot free trade zones and import demonstration zones, we will accelerate the improvement of the construction of the industrial chain, continuously cultivate and improve the overall effectiveness of the import alliance, promote the steady expansion of the import scale, and promote the construction of the national import trade promotion and innovation demonstration zone in Yuhua District, so that global agricultural treasures can enter Changsha and Hunan.
