For Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, his hands are already stained with the blood of a large number of Gaza civilians. If a ceasefire is cease-fired at this time because of too much international pressure, it will not be able to change its political outcome. Therefore, Netanyahu decided to fight until Hamas was eliminated completely. Although he may face the consequences of stepping down or being arrested by the International Military Tribunal, if he achieves his goals, Netanyahu will leave a strong mark on Israel's history. Throughout history, pioneers have generally been seen as heroes, and the blood on their hands has become a form of glory.
Netanyahu has approved plans for Israeli forces to conduct a ground operation in Rafah, a city in the southern Gaza Strip. On the 28th, the Chief of the General Staff of the Israel Defense Forces, Al-Khalwi, approved the battle plan and would attack Rafah. According to videos posted online, a large number of Israeli armored vehicles have been assembled, just waiting for an order.
On the 29th, the Israeli army's attack on Rafah, a city in the southern Gaza Strip, has resulted in the death of 25 people in the past few hours. Rafah, home to more than a million Gaza civilians, is precarious, arguably on the eve of a storm.
On April 28, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas pessimistically said that if Israel launched an attack on Rafah, it would be the biggest disaster in Palestinian history, and the repercussions would spread beyond the Gaza Strip. Therefore, the Palestinian side hopes that Israel will stop this action and stop its offensive behavior, and Abbas also called on the United States to demand that Israel stop attacking Rafah.
On the same day, US White House spokesman Kirby said that Israel had agreed to listen to US concerns and opinions before attacking Rafah. Kirby also said that Israel has begun to fulfill its previous commitment to allow humanitarian aid to enter the northern Gaza Strip.
As the helmsman of the United States, Biden ostensibly can make decisions that are in the interests of the United States under a democratic system. But in reality, in the context of Jews controlling vast wealth and infiltrating American politics, Biden is not able to make decisions based on American interests, but needs to take great care of the interests of the Jewish community. When the interests of the Jewish community conflict with those of the United States, Biden has to take precedence over the interests of the latter. Therefore, it can be seen that even though Israel's actions in Gaza have brought the United States into disrepute and been criticized by the outside world as an accomplice to the "genocide", the Biden administration still supplies weapons to Israel and sends military forces to deter Middle Eastern countries and escort Israel.
Looking at the whole world, who can save the people of Gaza? It's not Turkey, it's not Iran, it's not Sunni countries like Saudi Arabia, it's probably American college students who are protesting. During the U.S.-Vietnam War, Columbia University took the lead in holding demonstrations, and then the wave of protests swept through colleges and universities across the United States, and finally anti-war became the consensus of American society, accelerating the process of American withdrawal from Vietnam. Now, in the face of the intensifying conflict in Gaza, Columbia University has taken the lead in the protests, and the number of universities participating in the protests has now reached 86. The campaign is putting increasing pressure on US President Joe Biden to withdraw his support for Israel, and the American college student population is the last straw for the Rafah populace whose lives are hanging by a thread.
