Especially in the past few years, when people did not know about the localized storage of information security, they were always worried that American brands such as Tesla and Apple would send the user's core data and the images and running tracks captured by the camera back to North America. Therefore, in many places, parking lots and relevant units, when they cannot be sure whether Tesla will have a similar operation, will stop Tesla models and prevent them from entering......
Therefore, there are many friends around who are optimistic about Tesla products, but dare not buy them, and one of the core taboo points is, what if they can't buy it, and one day the unit is not allowed to enter?

A few days ago, the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers and the National Computer Network Emergency Technology Processing and Coordination Center organized the inspection of the data security compliance of newly listed intelligent networked vehicles of automobile manufacturers from 2022 to 2023 from November 2023 in accordance with the relevant provisions of regulations and standards such as the "Several Provisions on Automotive Data Security Management (Trial)", GB/T 41871-2022 "Information Security Technology - Security Requirements for Automotive Data Processing", and in accordance with the principle of voluntary inspection by enterprises. The results show that 76 models of six car companies, including BYD, Li Auto, Lotus, Hezhong, Tesla, and NIO, meet the four compliance requirements for automotive data security.
The so-called four compliance requirements are:
1. Anonymization requirements for face information outside the vehicle
2. Cockpit data is not collected by default
3. Cockpit data: in-vehicle data requirements
4. Conspicuous notification requirements for personal data information
There are some details about these four compliance requirements, but they are actually two to sum up, one is that the core key data does not leave the car, and the other is that the data that the vehicle needs to collect must be completely desensitized. In other words, the explicit data generated by the intelligent networked car about the owner and the vehicle cannot be released from the car and cannot fall into the hands of the manufacturer.
In fact, through the inspection of this authoritative organization, it has been proved that for a long time, Tesla-related models have truly implemented four compliance requirements, so driving Tesla-related models does not have the situation of transmitting external pictures, driving tracks, and personnel information. The previous "ban on entry" of Tesla in many places may have been more or less "overly nervous", or because they did not understand the situation, they could only be treated differently.
Well, the authoritative testing agency has proved Tesla's "innocence", in terms of vehicle data processing, and ideal, BYD and other domestic manufacturers are at the same level, plus Musk has just flown to China, and then many units, parking lots of Tesla's "prohibited" treatment, may be slowly diluted, buy Tesla's models, everyone only needs to pay attention to the vehicle product force itself, do not need to worry about being treated differently.
