The fire rescue personnel of the nearby Chaoyang District Fire and Rescue Detachment Anjialou Fire and Rescue Station arrived at the scene in time to extinguish the fire. After being questioned by investigators from the fire and rescue detachment and the public security police station, Yan Moumou confessed to his act of igniting the catkins in the woodland and causing the fire. In accordance with the provisions of Article 64 (2) of the Fire Protection Law of the People's Republic of China, the public security organs decided to give Yan XX an administrative punishment of 10 days of administrative detention.
Case 2
On April 17, Zhang, located in Xu Xinzhuang Village, Songzhuang Town, Tongzhou District, Beijing, cleaned up debris and burned weeds to ignite the surrounding willow catkins and caught fire, with a fire area of 10 square meters. After being questioned by investigators from the Tongzhou District Fire and Rescue Detachment and the Tongzhou Public Security Bureau, Zhang Moumou confessed to his act of igniting debris and causing the fire. In accordance with the provisions of Article 64 (2) of the "Fire Protection Law of the People's Republic of China" and Article 18, Paragraph 3 of the "Administrative Punishment Law of the People's Republic of China", it was decided to give Zhang XX a punishment of 10 days of administrative detention.
