During the Spring and Autumn Period, Qi Jinggong wanted to kill the groom because the horse died, and Yan Zigang listed the groom's crimes: "First, you raised the boss's horse to death! Second, if you die, the common people will think that the boss will kill people for the sake of horses, and will definitely scold the boss for making a fuss; third, when the competitor knows, they must think that our boss is a stingy ghost!" Qi Jinggong knew that Yan Zi was yin and yang himself, so he had to pardon the groom.
As soon as Li Shimin heard this joke told by his wife, he reacted: "I'm going! I'm almost a faint king!" and let the groom go...... Turning his head and sighing: There is a good wife in the family, but it is different!

However, Empress Changsun resolutely did not express her opinion on major court affairs, no matter how the emperor asked, she always said: No comments!

井上新桃偷面色,檐边嫩柳学身轻。
Come to see the dancing butterflies in the flowers, and listen to the warblers in the trees.
Why should the forest be asked far away, and the outstanding romance is famous.
The reason is very simple, the allusions to "under the forest" and "romance" quoted in her poems come from Xie Daoyun, a talented woman in the Eastern Jin Dynasty (if you haven't seen the story of this talented woman with "the wind under the forest", you must make up for it).
From the beautiful poems of Queen Changsun, it can be seen that she agrees with Xie Daoyun, and this talented woman Xie despises her husband out of the circle......
According to historical records, after Li Shimin saw this poem, he immediately turned into a little fan and praised it wildly!
Of course, this perfect queen also has helpless times, that is, her half-brother Eldest Sun Anye, who once swept her and her brother Eldest Sun Wuji out of the house......
This selfish fool with a lot of eyes turned out to be an official because of his sister's tolerance and generosity, and took advantage of the reputation of the eldest grandson's family to become an official. Of course, stupidity and badness are deep-rooted, and he soon got involved in the rebellion case and was sentenced to death.

I don't know if it's because I'm too thoughtful, so I think too much, I feel too stressed, or maybe it's fate...... A perfect woman like Empress Changsun was infected with a serious illness at a young age and could not be cured for a long time.
Li Shimin's feelings for his wife are not false, and he has tried his best to use medical medicine, but the condition of Empress Changsun is not good. The king of a country is anxious......
And their eldest son, Li Chengqian, who was the crown prince at the time, gave his father an idea: instead of taking medicine, why not worship the Buddha?
Li Shimin also rushed to the doctor when he was ill, and really agreed to his son's bad idea. And Empress Changsun knew about this and resolutely stopped the father and son!(How precious is labor!Raising so many monks to eat white rice in the temple, you are not stupid!)
And with the aggravation of Empress Changsun's illness, Li Shimin couldn't sit still! No name in a lifetime is as important as his wife's life, he ignored Empress Changsun's obstruction, frantically rebuilt pagodas in various places, and repaired a total of 392 ancient temple stupas to pray for the queen!
It's a pity that the Buddha did not manifest his spirit, and the eldest grandson queen became weaker and weaker day by day, and she expected that her time was short, so she asked her husband: everything in the future is simple, no tombs, and mountains are mausoleums.
Li Shimin was eager to fulfill all his wife's wishes, and he did not hesitate to issue an edict immediately: Emperor Li Tang has used mountains as mausoleums for generations! Since then, he has created a precedent for the Tang Dynasty to use mountains as mausoleums.
Empress Changsun died at the age of 36. Li Shimin was grief-stricken and ordered the construction of his future tomb: Zhaoling, where the body of Empress Changsun would be buried first, so that he could sleep with his beloved wife after his death in the future.

And Li Shimin's thoughts about the eldest grandson empress are far more than these, he built a lot for his deceased wife, and several sons also dug Buddhist caves and built temples for their mother with his support, including the famous Da Ci'en Temple, which is still one of the most famous attractions in Xi'an.
