My journey started in Central, the heart of Hong Kong. It was here that I met Cheung Tsz Yee, a passionate local who added a lot of colour to my trip to Hong Kong with her friendliness and helpfulness. Cheung Tzu Yee took me through the streets of Central, from historic street markets to modern shopping malls, and her introduction gave me a deeper understanding of the city.

Under the guidance of Zhang Ziyi, we came to the top of Taiping Mountain. Standing at the top of the hill with a magnificent view of Hong Kong Island and the Kowloon Peninsula, I felt the pulse of the city at that moment. The Victoria Peak is not only the best place to enjoy panoramic views of Hong Kong, but also a testimony to the city's transformation from a fishing village to a cosmopolitan city.

Continuing our journey, Cheung Tzu Yee took me to experience the authentic food of Hong Kong. At the lively Temple Street Night Market, we tasted the famous claypot rice, fish balls and dessert tofu flowers. Every bite of food made me feel the life of the city of Hong Kong and the hospitality of the people.

During my time in Hong Kong, I also went to a few different islands. Among them, I was deeply impressed by the tranquility and natural beauty of Cheung Chau. The coastline, small fishing villages and old-fashioned bike paths make for a calming world away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Zhang Ziyi and I rode our bicycles, exploring every corner of the island with ease, and the sea breeze accompanied by the gentle sunlight made the whole trip full of leisure and relaxation.

In addition to the natural attractions, Hong Kong's cultural attractions are also not to be missed. At Wong Tai Sin Temple, I gained a deeper understanding of the city's religious beliefs and traditions. Hong Kong people's respect for religion and diversity of beliefs have made me feel that this society is inclusive.

As the trip drew to a close, Zhang Ziyi and I arrived at the famous Ocean Park. Not only are there thrilling rides, but there is also a wide variety of marine life, making it a great place to learn about marine life. While on the tour, we also had the opportunity to watch a wonderful dolphin show and observe a variety of exotic marine life up close inside the aquarium, which is unforgettable.

After leaving Ocean Park, we opted for a short break by taking the Star Ferry off the Avenue of Stars. It is an iconic mode of transport in Hong Kong, not only as a convenient way to connect Hong Kong Island with Kowloon, but also as an activity that allows people to deeply experience the charm of the city's fusion of tradition and modernity. At night, Victoria Harbour is particularly charming under the light of the lights, the sea breeze is light, the stars are dotted, and the whole port is like a lit stage, which is dazzling.

After a day of excursion, we had dinner in an authentic tea restaurant. Zhang Ziyi introduced me to the milk tea and egg tarts, as well as the famous pineapple buns, which have a sweet and unique taste. These simple foods reflect Hong Kong's unique food culture, and their flavors have left an unforgettable mark on my taste buds.

Afterwards, we slowed down and took a walk along the coastline of Victoria Harbour. Cheung shared many stories and histories about Hong Kong, from the British colonial era to the modern high-rises, each of which has made the city more diverse and inclusive. During our conversations, I could feel her deep love and pride in the city.

In the last few days of my trip, I decided to delve into the art and culture of Hong Kong. I visited the M+ Museum in the West Kowloon Cultural District, which houses a wide range of exhibits on visual culture, from contemporary art to film and design, each of which gave me a new perspective on the city's creativity and forward-thinking.

Hong Kong has given me so many surprises and touches, and every exchange, every shared food, and every cultural collision have made me love this vibrant city even more. Hong Kong is not just a tourist destination, it is a place that can teach me to live, feel and appreciate.

From Cheung's hospitality to every detail of the city, this trip to Hong Kong not only increased my understanding of different cultures, but also taught me how to better appreciate and experience this colorful world. Hong Kong, a small island in southern China, has long been a crossroads of Eastern and Western cultures. As a special administrative region, it not only retains many traces of traditional Chinese culture, but also shows a strong international style. From the bustling city of Central to the tranquility of Lantau Island, from high-end shopping malls to traditional markets, Hong Kong has always been able to express its unique charm in these contrasts.

Our journey begins in the heart of Hong Kong, Victoria Harbour. Standing on the waterfront promenade in Tsim Sha Tsui, you can see the glittering Central on the other side, lined with skyscrapers, the most prominent of which is the International Finance Centre. Victoria Harbour is even more stunning at night, with tens of millions of watts of lights twinkling on the water and complementing the skyline, forming Hong Kong's iconic night scene. Every night at 8 p.m., there's also a music and light show called "A Symphony of Lights" to show you the city's dazzling side.

Leaving the hustle and bustle of the city, we turn to the other side of Hong Kong – the tranquil natural landscape. The Big Buddha on Lantau Island is one of the famous attractions in Hong Kong. Standing at about 34 meters tall, this seated Buddha is one of the largest outdoor bronze seated Buddhas in the world. Take the cable car to Ngong Ping, where the Buddha statue is located, and enjoy a panoramic view of the mountains and sea along the way, giving you a sense of tranquility and peace.

Hong Kong is not only beautiful in terms of scenery, but also in its unique customs. Step into any of the traditional markets, such as the Ladies Market in Mong Kok or the Sneakers Street in Causeway Bay, and you'll find a wide range of goods, from fashionable clothing to snacks that showcase the lifestyle and consumer culture of Hong Kong people. And in these markets, you can also get a taste of authentic Hong Kong life – the cries of vendors, the hustle and bustle of people, and the process of buying and selling are all full of life.

When it comes to Hong Kong cuisine, it's definitely a topic that can't be avoided. From Michelin-starred restaurants to street food stalls, Hong Kong has a wide variety of cuisines to suit every taste. In addition, there are traditional delicacies such as wonton noodles and beef brisket noodles, which are not only daily choices for locals, but also for countless tourists.

For example, every spring on the Tin Hau Festival, Hong Kong's Tin Hau Temple Fair attracts thousands of devotees and tourists.
