This AED, also known as an automatic external defibrillator in Chinese, is an intelligent, portable first-aid device that can be used by non-professional medical personnel. AED can diagnose specific arrhythmias, and give electric defibrillation treatment, so that the heart of patients with cardiac arrest due to malignant arrhythmia can return to normal rhythm, is widely used in public places, has been installed at the south entrance and exit of the security booth of the world. Cheng Jihui, captain of the Foshan Red Cross 519 Emergency Ambulance Volunteer Service Team, demonstrated the operation of the AED on the spot, and said that once a patient has a cardiac arrest accident, he should dial 120 as soon as possible and get the AED as soon as possible. After getting the machine, quickly turn on the machine, take out the electrodes, paste the electrodes according to the position indicated in the icon, make sure that the patient has no sweat and other foreign bodies when pasting the electrodes, when connecting the electrodes, the machine will immediately enter the program of analyzing the heart rhythm (do not touch the patient), when the defibrillation heart rhythm is analyzed, the machine will automatically charge, to ensure that no one touches the patient under the premise of pressing the discharge button immediately, let the machine discharge, shock the patient's heart, terminate the patient's irregular heart rhythm, and restore the normal heart rhythm。 If a patient in cardiac arrest can use cardiopulmonary resuscitation and AED within one minute, the success rate is as high as 90%, and the success rate of rescue decreases by about 10% for every minute of delay.

Citizens can find the emergency AED through the AED map in the WeChat city service or the micro health in the official account of Healthy Foshan, and then they can query the distribution of AEDs.
