In the name of poetry, it is a cultural feast
On the evening of April 27th, the sound of poetry came out of the Gulangyu Concert Hall and lingered on Gulangyu Island, and the opening party of the 10th Gulangyu Poetry Festival officially began.
The whole party is divided into four chapters: "listening to the ancient", "carrying", "renewing" and "adding color", through the integration of poetry and music, connecting classical and modern, "sea silk" and "land silk", oriental and western culture, unfolding a magnificent and beautiful poetry picture, highlighting the eternal charm of Chinese excellent traditional culture.
The opening program "The Source of Poetry" kicked off the party, Li Daokui, Guan Xin, Peng Lu, Shi Manrong four reciters, with emotion, recited "The Book of Poetry, Guan Ju", "The Book of Poetry, Pujia" and the Yuefu poem "Guests Come from Far Away", "Bright Moon He Jiaojiao" and other beautiful poems.
In the chapter of "Listening to the Ancients", Liu Jihong, a national first-class actor of the People's Liberation Army Art Troupe (formerly the General Political Drama Troupe) and a famous performing artist, recited Li Bai's famous poem "Will Enter the Wine" for the audience.
In the next three chapters, the folk music "Spring River Flower Moonlight Night", the ancient chorus "The Book of Poetry, Xiaoya, Luming", the poetry and piano recitation "Treasure of the Country" and other wonderful programs were staged in turn, accompanied by melodious music and smart dance, Qindao poetry Langlang, so that the audience can perceive the rhythmic beauty and artistic conception of the poem, and also feel the romantic poetry of Gulangyu Island.
In the interactive session of "AR Wishing Lanterns", through the "Gulangyu Metaverse" applet, the AR wishing lanterns will illuminate the night of Gulangyu poetry, and thousands of lights will fly to the sea of digital wisdom with poems and blessings.

During the Poetry Festival, many literary and artistic celebrities gathered on Qindao. How poetic is Xiamen? We can see this from the "neighborhood poets" solicitation activity: In just one week, nearly 200 poems were received from nearly 100 poets inside and outside the province. Focusing on the theme of "World Heritage Life, Poetic Qin Island", the poets carefully created a number of poems with distinct themes, or narrative, or lyrical, or nostalgic, or poetry, showing the natural scenery, humanistic atmosphere and their good wishes of Gulangyu Island between the lines.
When the poetry festival meets the May Day holiday in the romantic Qindao, citizens and tourists will follow the poetry to Gulangyu Island, face the sea breeze, listen to the melodious sound of the piano, shuttle through the buildings of all countries, and open the romantic encounter between poetry and distant places.
This will also be a journey of digital intelligence, when the poetic scene and metaverse technology meet, a digital intelligence poetry scroll is about to unfold: shuttle through the AR poetry tunnel, listen to old photos tell their stories, follow the digital intelligence guide route for AR experience, and return to the glorious days of Lin'er Jiashu Zhuang Yinshe. In addition, there is an immersive VR experience, allowing the general public and tourists to experience Gulangyu Island from a different perspective of cloud travel.
This year's Gulangyu Poetry Festival is guided by the Chinese Writers Association and the Xiamen Municipal People's Government, sponsored by the Gulangyu-Wanshishan Scenic Area Management Committee, the Municipal Federation of Literary and Art Circles, the Poetry Magazine and the Chinese Poetry Society, undertaken by Xiamen Daily, and co-organized by Xiamen Airlines and China Mobile Migu Company.
