No matter which standard is used, Changan Qiyuan A05 performs well in pure electric range. At the same time, we also carried out a test of fuel consumption.
After driving 110.2 km, the fuel consumption was calculated after filling up at the gas station, and the result was 4.3 l/100 km. The actual refueling volume is 4.15 liters, which is equivalent to 3.77 liters of fuel per 100 kilometers. In addition, the vehicle recharges a small amount of power to the battery while traveling. Based on the oil price of 8.25 yuan/liter of No. 92 gasoline on the day of the test, the cost of Changan Qiyuan A05 is only 0.31 yuan per kilometer in the state of power loss, which is close to the cost of many pure electric models that use public fast charging piles for charging, and the performance is very good.
The digital intelligence AI electric drive 2.0 platform equipped with Changan Qiyuan A05 also has several interesting features. First of all, it has the world's original iEM high-end intelligent power control system. Traditional hybrid algorithms generally only consider two parameters, speed and throttle opening, to control engine speed, but this method is too simple and crude to fully take into account multiple factors of vehicle operating conditions. However, Changan Qiyuan A05's algorithm inputs all parameters such as motors, batteries, engines, and transmission systems into the PCU, and collects more than 500 types of information such as drivers and vehicles at all times to obtain the best control results, with an energy-saving effect of up to 6%.

The results show that the noise of the range extender mode is not much different from that of the pure electric mode, except for the loud operation of the internal combustion engine in the idle state.
